00:15 There was one which was called the Mega Mixed Grill.

00:20 There was also the Chip Shop Challenge.
00:22 I remember at the time thinking, "Hmm, maybe I can do that. I've got a bit of a good appetite."
00:25 Although I must admit I'm not feeling quite as confident now.
00:28 Basically, the idea is that you get a mountain of food comes out and you've got 20 minutes
00:31 to consume it.
00:32 And if you consume it in the 20 minutes, you get that meal for free.
00:35 So that's what I'm here to do today.

00:39 I've just been sent the list and it is worrying me a bit.
00:42 You've got two beef burgers, two chicken burgers, a breakfast burger bun, which includes two
00:47 rashes of bacon, two sausages and hash browns.
00:51 And it comes with homemade hand-cut chips.
00:54 So coleslaw, onion rings and corn on the cob.
00:58 I was chatting to Sarah before just to see what the success rate is.
01:02 She's only aware of two people who've done it.
01:05 One was a professional eater who did it for his social media channel.
01:08 The other was actually a 15-year-old boy who came with his five uncles.
01:11 The five uncles failed, but actually he managed to succeed.
01:14 I've been doing a bit of pre-meal training.
01:16 So I've been out on my bike this week just trying to burn off those calories before I

01:20 I've also not had it yet since last night when I had my tea.
01:22 I had my tea last night at about 7pm.
01:25 It's now come up for 3pm in the afternoon.
01:27 So what's that?
01:28 I think it's about 19 hours since I last ate.
01:29 So I prepare as much as I can, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for the challenge.

01:42 So I just decided that I would do some food challenges just to try and sort of promote

01:50 As soon as I put them on, we got Kyle vs Food, who is also a professional eater.
01:57 He came and did the burger challenge.
02:00 He did it in 14 minutes and then had a bit of cheesecake.
02:05 And then after that, we had a lot of interest in it.
02:08 There's not been a lot of interest in the grill one.
02:11 We've had a few people do that.
02:13 We actually get a lot of people coming in and getting the grill one, but not doing it

02:20 I'm doing the Beefsteak Burger one.
02:21 I've been through what's on that menu, but what's in the mixed grill?
02:25 The mixed grill is an eight ounce rump steak, a 10 ounce gammon, chicken breast, four sausages,
02:32 two black pudding, two eggs, chips, onion rings, tomatoes.
02:39 When I first decided to do them, I got a couple of my friends over to see how doable they
02:44 were.
02:45 One of my friends pretty much inhales food when he eats.
02:50 He came and he gave it a good go.
02:52 He got pretty close.
02:53 I thought, "If he can't do it, there's not going to be many people who can."
02:58 But then we actually had five brothers come in and try it.
03:02 One of them got down to the last few seconds and literally all he had left was his pot
03:08 of salad.
03:09 He failed it by this little pot of salad.
03:13 They came back a few weeks later and one of them rang and said, "My nephew wants to come,
03:18 but he's only 15."
03:19 I said, "All right, do you want us to do a smaller challenge for him?"
03:24 He said, "No, no, it's fine.
03:25 He wants to give the proper one a try."
03:28 The six of them came in and I was obviously watching this one who had nearly done it previously,
03:35 who actually didn't get anywhere near this time.
03:38 The 15 year old nephew absolutely smashed it.
03:42 Do people tend to fail because they just can't get through the food or they tend to run out

03:47 They run out of time, basically.
03:48 I think if you gave more time, people would just plow through it and plow through it.
03:53 I think from watching people do it, you need to have a fizzy drink and a glass of water
