00:00 Mohamed Salah, obviously by his numbers it's not been quite the incredible season that we've seen in post.
00:06 Some unbelievable numbers under Jurgen Klopp. Obviously the end of Klopp's reign, there's
00:11 questions whether it might be the end of Salah's as well in a Liverpool shirt. What's the latest
00:16 you can tell us? Obviously a bit of a falling out at West Ham as well, maybe on the touchline.
00:20 But does that sort of maybe, you know, symbolise that it could be the end of his time here?
00:27 Or how are the fans feeling as well? Do they really want the Egyptian to stay?
00:31 Yeah, it's been a difficult one because,
00:34 states after that, West Ham, I mean, obviously he'd been dropped to the bench and in the Merseyside
00:40 derby for a while he was pretty anonymous, gave the ball away that ultimately led to
00:44 Everton's second goal. Didn't do a lot in the game, put a couple over the bar.
00:48 He's been in poor form since he's returned from the African Cup and Asians and injury really,
00:53 and then he obviously aggravated his hamstring again when he came off the bench, probably sooner
00:58 than expected away at Brentford. You'll feel the effects of pretty much being available for every
01:06 game that Liverpool have had in the seven years he's been in the club. But, you know, back to
01:10 that West Ham incident, you were looking at it, it didn't look great on the sides of the pitch,
01:16 and then obviously what happened in the mix zone after it where he said there'll be fire
01:19 for Speakey, when Jürgen Klopp tried to put the fire out, Salah's stoking the flames really.
01:25 But now, what's coming out of Liverpool is that Liverpool don't want to sell him this summer.
01:31 Even though he's got a year left on his contract and there was Salah's interest last summer,
01:39 everyone probably expected Mo Salah to have interest from Salah again. But is that Liverpool
01:47 saying, 'well no, we want to keep him because he doesn't want to drive Price down? If you say,
01:51 well, he's not part of our plans, then clubs are going to say, well, you want to get rid of him,
01:56 so we're going to try and lowball you?' And it's interesting because Michael Heads,
02:00 who's back at the club now as well, he was a key figure in bringing Mo Salah to Liverpool from
02:06 Roma. I think he actually had to persuade Jürgen Klopp to go with Salah, maybe ahead of a couple
02:11 of other wingers, and that's big. He's clearly got an admirer in Michael Heads. Liverpool will
02:16 be looking at the situation, of course they will. They'll be looking at why his form has dipped
02:21 lately, why he's not even performing, but goals also dried up as well. Liverpool will be looking
02:29 at all the data, etc, what they've got available to them. But I think maybe we have been too quick
02:37 to judge him because he has been so good for seven years. Maybe we were too quick to say,
02:41 well, he's having a poor patch. He's 32, he's finished, he's in impeccable shape, isn't he?
02:47 And players we know play for a lot longer than he used to. So maybe we've just got a little bit
02:54 ahead of ourselves by saying that maybe he is on a downward curve and it's just a dipping fork.
