00:04 And I thought today we maybe were a little more choppy than we had been.
00:08 We had a couple pretty good days previously in practice and
00:11 give the defense some credit too.
00:13 They did some really good things today that made it challenging on us really,
00:15 to be honest with you.
00:16 But I'm happy with where they're at.
00:18 They're working so hard.
00:20 Their preparation is really what's gonna take them to the next level.
00:23 How hard they work at it, not only on the field, but in the classroom,
00:27 to really master the offense and get comfortable in the schemes and
00:30 that kind of thing.
00:31 And really to get in the head of the head coach, the play caller.
00:34 So they understand all the play calls and why coaches call in certain plays,
00:39 when it's time to get out of a play and get into a better play,
00:41 and making sure we're not wasting plays, that kind of thing.
00:43 But I'm pleased with it now, but definitely a work in progress,
00:49 I would say at this point, but we're getting there.
00:51 >> How much do you have to look into kind of understand who they are as a person,
00:54 that so we can translate to them as a play caller?
00:56 >> Yeah, I mean, that's a great question.
00:59 I mean, yeah, cuz everybody's a little different, right?
01:01 And we knew DeMond and Demarcus just from recruiting and played against Will.
01:07 But getting to know him the last few months and whatnot, it's been great.
01:12 And just kind of learning what each guy responds to,
01:15 whether that be in the classroom and how they learn.
01:18 Or play calls, things they like, things they're comfortable with,
01:21 and maybe they're not comfortable with.
01:22 So we're still again, it's a work in progress, we're nine practices into it.
01:28 But I would say this, I would say from practice one to practice nine, and
01:31 I think you guys can see it, how much growth we've made in a short amount of time.
