00:00 >> So was there a discussion between you and Alphonso to bail out a fellow
00:02 linebacker with that safety given what happened on the previous play?
00:05 >> No, no, no, I mean, hey, stuff happens in the games.
00:08 I mean, everything's moving so fast and I know I had to go in and
00:12 I mean, I'm called to make a play and that's exactly what I did.
00:14 So, you know, it's all love.
00:16 >> And Jabbar mentioned it, but there was some schematic changes.
00:19 It sounds like from the first half to the second half defensively,
00:21 just what allowed you guys to have so much success in the second half?
00:23 >> I feel like just our confidence coming out halftime, I knew obviously we let
00:26 a good amount of points in the first half.
00:28 We weren't kind of clicking.
00:29 The communication was a little bit off, but
00:31 I feel like being able to bring us all together like with the staff,
00:34 with the whole defense and just kind of go over everything.
00:37 We all drilled exactly know what we were gonna do in the second half and
00:40 we executed.
00:41 >> What is it about, did you tell Alphonso that you got two of his six points back?
00:44 >> Well, I told him I got his back no matter what and I mean, that's about it.
00:47 >> Do you guys have a chance to talk about that at all?
00:49 I'm sure he was crushed with what happened.
00:51 >> I mean, yeah, I mean, it's all hard.
00:52 He's definitely gonna feel for a little bit.
00:53 I mean, it's like I talked to him earlier and
00:55 he was like I've dreamed of this scenario to get a pick six.
00:58 And I mean, he had it in the bag.
00:59 But I mean, once again, it's a football game, things happen.
01:02 >> What is it about this defense and this team that's just so resilient?
01:04 You guys go down early, but you still refuse to lose.
01:08 >> I mean, divorces all the time.
01:10 Exactly what you just said, refuse to lose.
01:11 Find a way to win, refuse to lose, and that's exactly what we did.
01:13 I mean, we came out, we knew that we weren't executing.
01:15 We knew we weren't helping out our offense.
01:17 Our offense was clicking, we weren't.
01:18 So then when the second half came around, we told them we got you guys.
01:21 We got your back and that's what we did.
01:23 >> What did you do on the safety?
01:24 >> Huh? >> What did you do on the safety?
01:25 Shot through somehow?
01:26 >> Yeah, I mean, I had my gap assignment, read the play, read the run,
01:30 kinda shot through, ran that cut out to me and just had to make a play.
