00:00Nicks a four and a half point favorite against the Indiana Pacers. The over-under is 220. Of course,
00:09J.Y., a controversial final minute of game number one, but the end result, the New York Nicks take
00:15a 1-0 series lead with a 121-117 victory. The Knickerbockers in that opening game,
00:22a five and a half point favorite, now just laying four and a half at home. If the New York Knicks
00:28are playing in a playoff game, it is going to be close and probably decided in the final few
00:32minutes of the fourth quarter. Will we see the same tonight inside MSG? That's the Knicks recipe.
00:40The Knicks recipe is make this a 48-minute street fight and hope that our guys are tougher than
00:45yours. And I think that's the key. And I think that's the interesting thing, because I know that
00:50last two-minute report came out. I'm going to just say this really quick. NBA,
00:54if the Knicks are involved, it's either give me a full 48-minute report or no report at all,
00:58because I want people to understand that over the course of a game, referees miss so many calls
01:03that you think it's the two minutes. No, no, no. It's the 46 before that too. So that's my little
01:08plug for the two-minute report. Now onto the game. Yes, this is going to be tight, Ben,
01:13because that's the way the Knicks play, because they don't have, let's be honest, the offensive
01:17firepower to just blow teams out. They have to play games close to the bat. They have to play
01:22games close and hope that their experience and their toughness wins out. Indiana, I don't think
01:28they changed their recipe, Ben. I think they make this a track meet. I think they want to get this
01:32up and down. Now that Mitchell Robinson is now out with an ankle injury for four to six weeks,
01:37now Precious Achua comes in. Now they're definitely really not going more than seven.
01:41And if it's eight, it's Alec Burks. If it's nine, it's Jericho Sims. Oh, Lord have mercy,
01:46Knicks fans, we may not want to go there. So for that being said, if I'm Rick Carlisle,
01:51I'm pushing the pace over 220. It was like two, I forget the number, I think 217 and a half or
01:56something like that was game number one. 220? Yeah. Right. Six of the last seven games, Ben,
02:01have gone 230 plus. Rick Carlisle's not going to change what he does. Take over 220 in the game
02:06tonight.
