00:00 The Department of Public Works and Highways will start this week the repair of the Magallanes flyover in the city of Makati.

00:10 Rise and Shine Dayan, the rehabilitation has already started under the Magallanes flyover this week.
00:23 But the Department of Public Works and Highways clarified that they will not close the flyover.
00:29 Although there are some issues in the trip, the reaction of some commuters to the Magallanes flyover is still positive.
00:38 For the commuter, it is important that we are safe everyday, wherever we go, in our work.
00:46 The work on the flyover will be beneficial for our safety everyday.

01:09 The Department of Public Works and Highways is waiting for the permit from the barangay for the scaffolding on the lower part of the flyover.
01:17 The rehabilitation work will start on this foundation, so the flyover is not yet affected.
01:23 Only a part of the U-turn slot will be affected, so the traffic will be limited on this part.
01:29 For now, there is no expected use for the rehabilitation.
01:32 The DPWH will also help the local government and Metro Manila Development Authority for the issuance of a traffic scheme for affected motorists.
01:43 The rehabilitation will start on the Magallanes flyover when the construction of the Edsa Camuning flyover in Quezon City is finished.
01:50 Only light vehicles will be allowed to pass the flyover while the construction is being done.
01:55 Retrofitting is expected to be finished within a month.
01:59 Meanwhile, the Guadalupe Bridge was built before the year ends.
