00:03 Take a look at Boston and Florida tonight on the schedule.
00:05 It could be closing time as well for Florida.
00:08 If they do win, that'll be a five game series win.
00:11 Swayman and Nett, Bobrovsky and Nett tonight.
00:13 2-10, a heavy favorite here for Florida.
00:16 Will it be easy for Florida to put away Boston?
00:18 And also, is Marshawn expected to play in this game?
00:21 Never say never, you know.
00:23 Like, Boston could bounce back.
00:25 This is a team that I've doubted them so much in the past.
00:28 And they always find a way to prove me wrong.
00:31 However, this is not a good look for Boston right now.
00:34 They've been in this situation before.
00:36 And it's really not panned out well for them when they were down 3-1 in a postseason series.
00:39 And Florida's carrying all the momentum right now.
00:42 We'll see if Brad Marshan returns and if that can kind of add some life back into this Bruins lineup.
00:46 But the way I've been seeing Florida play as of late, I mean, the last game,
00:50 I know there was a little bit of contest about whether a goal was good or not.
00:54 And how that ended up panning out.
00:56 Florida was pretty much the dominant team regardless.
00:58 So, you don't want to be in that situation where you're Boston and you kind of let it come down to that
01:03 in such a critical game.
01:04 Florida has all the momentum.
01:06 I feel like they've just put up so many shots on goal.
01:08 They've gotten a lot of goals.
01:09 They've rattled Boston a little bit.
01:11 And it seems like this team really honestly could close it out.
01:14 Boston blew out Florida in the first game in Sunrise 5-1.
01:19 Since then, the Panthers have won 3-straight.
01:22 Looking to bounce the bees from the postseason for a second consecutive year.
01:26 And now we go to game 4 tonight in Edmonton.
01:29 Again, the oddsmakers entering this series expected it to be quick and relatively easy for the Oilers.
01:35 It's been anything but.
01:36 Vancouver, a 2-1 series lead, entering game number 4 tonight.
01:41 But the oddsmakers favor the Oilers once again.
01:44 Close to a $2.00 favorite price on that money line.
01:48 Does Edmonton draw even in game 4 tonight?
01:51 This is the one series where honestly, I don't have a read on what's going on.
01:55 Because I feel like the Oilers were really set up.
01:58 They had their best first-round series I've seen in the past couple of postseasons.
02:02 Where they looked really dominant against LA for the first time in a while.
02:05 And then Vancouver's having a lot of bad injury luck this postseason as well.
02:09 With key pieces like Thatcher Demko being injured.
02:12 And they're still able to rally against a very, very strong Edmonton team.
02:15 You wonder if it's the same old story with the Oilers every single year.
02:18 Their core is just not able to make up for the deficiencies in their back-end and their goal-tending.
02:23 And that's kind of what I've been seeing right now.
02:25 They're still close games, right?
02:27 There's a couple of one-goal differential games in this series as well.
02:30 So it could have honestly gone either way.
02:32 But with the team that Vancouver has, Edmonton really had the opportunity to prove a point.
02:37 And they just haven't.
02:38 So they need to tie up this series.
02:40 If Vancouver gets a 3-1 lead, the Oilers are going to be so deflated.
02:43 I don't know if they can come back from that.
02:46 Take a look at that graphic that we just had up.
02:48 Game 7 here is a +114 price, which means that's the favorite for this series to go 7.
02:52 How exciting, certainly, would that be?
02:54 Let's flip it over to the NHL conference odds.
02:56 And if we start in the Eastern Conference, the Panthers right now, Anna,
02:59 are the favorites here at -105 to be the champions of the Eastern Conference
03:03 and play for the Stanley Cup, followed by the Rangers, Hurricanes, and the Bruins at 23-1.
03:08 Do we agree that the Panthers right now should be the favorite in the Eastern Conference,
03:11 at least in the betting odds?
03:12 I think we do agree.
03:14 Just because Florida has showcased how dominant they've been against Boston.
03:17 They have a very solid team.
03:19 They have a lot of players who can score goals.
03:21 They've been there before.
03:22 If they play the Carolina Hurricanes, we know how that panned out last year.
03:25 The Rangers are finally looking a little bit shaky after starting off this postseason undefeated.
03:30 So that's kind of good for Florida as well.
03:32 I feel like that's the team that has the most momentum and the strongest odds and chances right now.
03:37 Carolina, I feel like this series against the Rangers,
03:40 both of those teams are just wearing each other out right now.
03:42 So when they end up playing Florida, I don't know if it's going to look good for either of them, to be honest,
03:47 even though I did have Carolina beating Florida in my Eastern Conference Finals predictions.
03:50 If, and it's still a big if, the Hurricanes can come back from down 3-0
03:56 to beat the Rangers in advance of the Eastern Conference Finals,
04:00 I would love to see what that money price is on the Canes for that series outright.
04:05 Anna's prediction out west, looking pretty good.
04:08 Dallas, a -140 favorite to win the Western Conference crown.
04:12 It seems like it's going to be a battle between the Oilers and the Canucks.
04:15 Anna, in the final minute of this segment, let's talk Con Smythe Award odds right now.
04:20 Two goaltenders at the top, Igor Shosturkin from New York, Jake Ottinger from Dallas.
04:26 Who gets your pick at this moment?
04:28 Between those two, probably Jake Ottinger, but I want to give a shout out right now to the way Wyatt Johnson's playing.
04:33 We mentioned him a little bit earlier.
04:35 I think Wyatt Johnson of Dallas Stars win the Stanley Cup, and they're looking really solid right now.
04:39 They're the most solid team I've seen as of late.
04:41 He's right out there as well, guys.
04:43 We've got a better number on him for sure.
04:45 14-1 for Wyatt Johnson, the young 21-year-old who scored twice last night as Dallas beat Colorado in Denver.
04:54 Anna Due from the NHL, as always, we appreciate the time. Thanks for being here.
04:58 Thanks for having me.
