00:29 As the new ambassador of the Philippine Red Cross.

00:39 Attorney Annette Gozon-Valdes,

00:41 and Sparkle Vice President, Joy Marcelo.

00:45 The Philippine Red Cross was led by its Chairman and CEO,

00:50 former Senator Richard Gordon.

00:53 Being able to utilize my platform and my sphere of influence

00:56 to positively impact the lives of so many,

00:59 that's always at my core,

01:00 that's the reason why I joined pageantry,

01:02 is to really be able to create opportunities for those around me.

01:06 She's not just a fabulous artist,

01:08 not just a beautiful beauty queen,

01:10 but she has a purpose.

01:12 So, she really embraced the idea of being a brand ambassador,

01:18 a voice of Red Cross,

01:19 because she really believes in the ideals and causes of Red Cross.

01:24 I heard her say, "Smart, beautiful, and enthusiastic."

01:29 So, I'd imagine that it will be a successful collaboration,

01:35 especially during a disaster,

01:36 she can put up a lot of inspiration.

01:39 Next week, she'll be passing her crown as Miss Universe Philippines.

01:46 I feel very nostalgic.

01:48 I mean, this is the end of a one-year reign,

01:50 but also a closing chapter of a seven-year journey

01:53 to get to where I am.

01:54 So, it is going to be a very emotional night when that happens,

01:58 but I am very excited for the next queen.

02:02 May her destiny shine the brightest that night.

02:04 But I will always be there guiding her,

02:06 making sure that she is prepared to represent the country that we all love.
