00:00 We're here today in the former Cole Brothers building, a place that many people will recognise
00:04 from when the department store was open and I'm able to announce today that the exciting
00:09 transformation of this much-loved building has moved a step closer with the council signing
00:15 the agreement for the lease with Urban Splash. Urban Splash have got some really exciting plans
00:21 for this building and it's going to sit alongside other exciting projects in the city centre,
00:26 the Heart of the City scheme, Castlegate, West Bar and Fargate. We've got all sorts of exciting
00:32 plans that we want to share with the people of Sheffield in the near future about ideas for
00:39 bringing the whole building back to life but starting on the ground floor at street level,
00:43 the Barkerspool frontage and Cambridge Street, bringing sort of food and drink and shops back
00:49 into this amazing big space and then we'll continue with further plans up the building
00:58 with ideas for possibly workspace or possibly public uses. That's all to be decided and we
01:06 want to hear from the public about their vision and their hopes for this building because we know
01:11 that it means so much to Sheffielders and I go around the country and people know about Cole
01:17 Brothers so it's a very special place, we know that. We're lucky to be working with you to bring
01:23 it back to life. We're creating a city centre that will be a great place for people to come,
01:29 live, work, enjoy and have a fantastic time here in the heart of our city.
