00:00 Yeah, I'm so excited. I can't quite believe it. It's come on so quickly since Tokyo. It's
00:06 a bit like, oh my goodness, wow!
00:09 Livi says that she hopes this will be one of the biggest Paralympics we've seen in years
00:14 and thinks that the fact it's close to home will mean people will be involved as much
00:18 as they possibly can.
00:21 I think so. I think it's going to be quite similar to London. Obviously, it's closer
00:24 to home. Obviously, Tokyo and Rio are further away. Obviously, Tokyo, we had COVID. So I
00:31 think this year, Paris, and also the French people, they love sport. And obviously, as
00:37 I said earlier, it's closer to home. So I think it's going to be a really exciting games
00:41 to be part of.
00:43 Livi says that her preparations for the games are going really well and is hoping to bring
00:47 the gold back home in August.
00:50 So it's basically just training, taking over. I've been training really hard for the last
00:55 how many years? I've been in Africa 12 years now. And each year, I'm learning about myself
01:00 and what works, what doesn't work. So yeah, it's just trying to keep taking over, keep
01:06 injury free, and get stronger, get faster, jump further, working on technical stuff.
01:12 So yeah, it's all coming together really nicely. So I'm feeling really good and really confident.
01:17 Yes, I would love to come back with something shiny. So really, yeah, fingers crossed that
01:22 happens.
01:24 She says that having a team around her makes everything much easier and gives her the best
01:29 chances to do well. And she hopes that it all translates into people tuning in and hopefully
01:34 inspiring people of all ages and abilities to take up sport wherever they can.
01:39 Yeah, definitely. I think, you know, obviously, the Paralympics is inspiring. You know, you
01:44 see people with no legs, no arms, you know, having no vision and stuff, you know, having
01:49 cerebral palsy, you know, it's very inspiring. But we just want to inspire the next generation
01:54 and make people realise what a different sport can make to your life as well.
