00:00A big problem for motorcyclists and bicyclists is the sudden rain.

00:04That's why MMDA is going to put a floodgates under the big flyover in Metro Manila.

00:12Joseph Moro is on the scene.

00:17Whenever it rains, this is the scene of motorcycle and bicycle riders.

00:21They are stuck under flyovers, overpasses, and MRT stations that are being obstructed.

00:28And it's causing a lot of traffic according to MMDA.

00:31MMDA said that it won't be a problem anymore because they will put floodgates

00:36under the big flyovers like the Edsock-Quezon Avenue flyover.

00:40Here, motorcycle and bicycle riders can temporarily stop.

00:45But for them to stop under other flyovers, overpasses, and MRT stations, it's still prohibited.

00:51It's prohibited to stop for a long time.

00:53If they want to change or wear a capote, we will allow that.

00:58They should be here.

01:00They will also put repair stations where they can get repairs for free.

01:04MMDA is just talking to the riders who will get repairs.

01:28Here in the emergency lay-by, motorcycles and bicycles can stop when it rains.

01:34MMDA is just thinking about putting a time limit to stop

01:39so that more people can benefit from this.

01:42So that they can wear rain gear and leave.

01:47If it's going to rain, there are only a few hundred accommodators, or 1,000.

01:51But here, there are 170,000.
