00:38Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!
00:49Today we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day.
00:53Landed in Normandy, France.
00:55An incredible achievement in military planning and logistics.
00:59United brave service personnel from air, sea and land forces of the beginning of Operation Overlord.
01:06By the day's end, over 150,000 Allied troops had successfully stormed the now famous Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah and Old Omar beaches to achieve a freehold in France.
01:21In the weeks that followed, the Allies fought bitterly against a determined foe.
01:26From the unforgiving countryside of Normandy to the liberation of Paris two months later.
01:32We should all remember and never forget the selfless sacrifice and courage of all those involved.
01:38And use this commemoration to pay our tribute to those who gave so much to secure the freedom we all enjoy today.
01:46God save the King!
01:48Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!
02:09They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
02:14Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
02:19At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
02:25We will remember them.
02:39Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!
03:03When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today.
03:12We will remember them.
03:14We will remember them.
03:18Parade dismissed.
