Malaysia is open to joining BRICS, the intergovernmental organisation comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, due to its potential economic benefits, said Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.
The Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister mentioned on Tuesday (June 18) that BRICS is currently progressing well, with countries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt having recently joined.
