Mrs Slocombe reminds everyone that her birthday is approaching, and the rest of the staff work out that she will be 50. They then buy her a present and practise singing "Happy Birthday", and Mr Humphries has a special cake made. However, when the cake is revealed and it says "50" Mrs Slocombe is horrified as she is only 46. Mr Harman also unveils the "If you want to get a head get a hat" promotional mannequin which only works properly when the "Flexi-Girdle Corporation" display works.
