The Labour leader was questioend on his plans for migration while Rishi Sunak was questioned about the Tory betting scandal. "I was really proud of Keir and his turning to facing the future and offering the solutions our country needs, and it was in stark contrast to what we saw from the prime minister," Mr Kyle said.

00:00The really interesting dynamic yesterday in the debate was that all of the questions put to Keir
00:06were about how are you going to tackle the challenges that have been left after 14 years
00:10of chaos and instability of the Conservative parties? How will you fix the enormous challenges
00:15in the NHS? How will you fix the enormous challenges of having a low growth, high tax
00:20economy? These are the things that were put to Keir yesterday and he had all of the convincing
00:25answers for it and yet Rishi Sunak was constantly questioned about the failure in standards,
00:30the failures in the NHS and public services, the failure to get growth into our economy,
00:35all of the missed promises, all of the scandal and sleaze that's ensued ever since Boris Johnson
00:40became Prime Minister and Rishi Sunak has been part of and unable because he is too weak to
00:46tackle. So I was really proud of Keir who was turning to facing the future, offering the
00:51solutions our country needs and it was in stark contrast to what we saw from the Prime Minister.
