Official description: Antechamber for Supporting Characters sidesteps narrative and plot in favour of fumbling, idling and rambling. An uncertain clown ventures to communicate with a group of comparatively self-assured spiders through physical mimicry and the sampling of sounds in a space where language and emotions play on a loop. The spiders alternate between cruelty and care while the clown flounders. They find each other in be-tween, with a few harmonious moments. Mühlebach approaches virtual world-building with a DIY aesthetic, revelling in the awkwardness of a medium whose attempts to imitate human experience consistently fall short of the real thing.
