00:00Conor Gormley here, I'm a trainee reporter for Sussex World and this is our daily news bulletin
00:04where I walk you through all of our top stories from across both East and West Sussex today.
00:09The owner of Kim's Bookshop in Chichester has bid customers a fond farewell ahead of the
00:15Cathedral City favourites, sorry, closure next month, speaking to Sussex World about some of her
00:20favourite moments in the shop and the reasons behind its closure. Fortunately for anyone worried
00:25about the future of books and bookshops, it's not due to a lack of business. Owner Lynne
00:30Flowers-Hearn said that closure was a personal decision and sales remain high and the business
00:36itself is popular and profitable and has been right up until the end. A major Sussex road,
00:41which has been plagued by problems for nearly two years, is due to close again next week.
00:45Sussex World can report the A29 at Churchill in Paulborough was first closed on December 22nd
00:512022 following a landslide and only reopened in April last year following months of traffic chaos
00:58and fears for local businesses. Now though, experts are saying the crisis drop road could close again
01:03on July 5th for four hours while West Sussex County Council carries out a routine inspection
01:09of the site. In later news, West Sussex has its own answer to Willy Wonka in the form of Catherine
01:14Dodd from Warburton. The 22-year-old chocolate business Catherine's Originals is behind the
01:19world's first vegan chocolate box and sells products through a network of 60 independent
01:24stores all based out of a small factory at Towcar Industrial Park. Make sure to check her out,
01:29we've done a big feature on her and she's worked very hard to make the business what it is today.
01:35That's all from me today but for more news from Sussex, make sure to check out our website,
