00:15She has been among the most outspoken critics of the Kremlin, earning her a Russian arrest warrant.

00:26that wants nothing more than to fulfil its own European dream.
00:31Kalas has made her mark boosting her country's defence capabilities
00:35and sending as much aid to Ukraine as possible.
00:38With 1.4% of GDP so far, Estonia is amongst the greatest military supporters in relation to population size.
00:45How Kalas will be able to handle crisis regions in other parts of the world remains to be seen,
00:51but her pragmatic and diplomatically skilled style bodes well.
00:55She faced a serious scandal a year ago when it transpired that her husband had a stake in a company
01:00that had maintained operations in Russia past the invasion.
