00:40at Pasar Utama.

00:42Meanwhile, at Pasar Tamu, you'll find locally made products including the iconic Belacan

00:48Bintulu, reputed to be one of the best in the country.

00:54Kaunsel Negeri Monument

01:00The historic Kaunsel Negeri Monument, just steps away from the market, commemorates Sarawak's

01:06first legislative assembly on September 8, 1867, under the leadership of Charles Brooke.

01:37During FMT Lifestyle's visit, locals were spotted riding motorbikes on ferries to get

01:45You have to admit that it's not every day that you spot a food delivery rider on a ferry.

01:51Foot passengers also use these ferries for a quick transit, cutting a 30-minute drive

01:57down to just 10 minutes.

02:01Another unique sight was a family selling freshly caught fish from the night before

02:06at a bus stop along the main road.

02:13Tanjung Batu Beach

02:15Unlike Sabah, Sarawak is not usually known for its beaches.

02:30in the air and tables and chairs filling up for sizzling grilled chicken wings.

02:37Although swimming isn't recommended, the cool breeze and sound of waves crashing against

02:42the rocks makes it the perfect spot to wind down your day in Bintulu.
