00:00In this, we see Surah Al-A'raf, the story of Prophet Musa is one of the big stories for us to learn how to convey the Da'wah and do reformation among the Children of Israel.
00:27And of course, it is not put with a red carpet that is easy and comfortable, but has a variety of challenges to convey to the feelings that we want to learn by repeating the study in this episode.

02:16Alhamdulillah. I am fine.
02:18Alhamdulillah. Today, we are together with our guest, Istiqomah group and there is also a companion of the fans of Quran Time from Banting.
02:27Sejangkang.
02:28Sejangkang. And I heard that there is durian and various things around us.
02:33Interesting.
02:35And to all of you who are at home, we pray to Allah SWT.
02:40Allah provides His knowledge, full of wisdom to us with the supplication of Allah SWT.
02:53We have just read part of verse 150 and we want to continue with Ustaz Shamsul Hakim to see together the story of Prophet Musa
03:03who was full of challenges and not only from the aspect of the threatening pharaoh,
03:13but when he met the people of Israel as their people, they were full of challenges.
03:20And when he returned from meeting Allah SWT, it was stated in verse 150,
03:25and Prophet Musa threw the tablets of the Torah.
03:32Why did Prophet Musa do that and what is the meaning of learning for us?
03:36Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi ta'ala wa barakatuh.
03:41Dear Ustaz Fazrul and Ustaz Tirmidhi Ali and all of you who are at home or in the studio.
03:51Today we want to re-study from verse 169 to verse 170 insyaAllah.
03:58The beginning is the story of what happened when Prophet Musa returned from meeting Allah SWT
04:05to be given the title of a prophet.
04:09And when he returned from the first meeting, he was faced with the test of Da'wah.
04:14The situation of the people of Israel was dispassionate compared to the other people.
04:20They were extremely stubborn.
04:23When they were alone with Prophet Musa AS,
04:29they worshipped the statue of the son of Lembu.
04:32This is a very, very bad deed, which is associating the son of Allah SWT.
04:36So we know that there is no worse sin than the sin of associating the son of Allah.
04:42Even if we look at the statements of the Prophet SAW regarding the great sins,
04:49there is nothing that the Prophet has omitted regarding the great sins of humans.
04:54Except for the first one, which is associating the son of Allah.
04:59And that is the message of the people after the time of the Prophet himself.
05:04If we look at the affirmation given by Luqman to his son,
05:08there is no other reminder.
05:10Therefore, do not associate the son of Allah.
05:12It means that if the first thing that is remembered and forbidden from being done,
05:17it will certainly cause extraordinary anger.
05:21As we said, in the environment we live in,
05:24there is a barrier when we deal with someone.
05:28For example, we say, Ustaz Tir.
05:31Ustaz Tir Mizi, I have no problem with Ustaz Tir.
05:35But Ustaz, don't say that my nose is crooked.
05:38Of course, that is my first barrier.
05:41Other things do not matter.
05:43Therefore, in the life of a Prophet,
05:45the biggest barrier is that the people should not associate the son of Allah.
05:50Because that will not only cause the anger of the Prophet himself,
05:54even the anger of Allah that we know for the people of Israel.
05:57Many times they were threatened to be destroyed by Allah.
06:01Therefore, because of the great anger towards the association of this people,
06:05at that time, the consideration of Prophet Musa AS,
06:09in controlling that anger,
06:11seemed to disappear for a moment.
06:13That is, until it was overshadowed.
06:15What we say, the table, the plate,
06:18the plates that contain the messages from Allah
06:22for his people to follow the guidance,
06:24but because of the thought of the evil that was done by his people,
06:28which made it possible to invite the mercy from Allah,
06:32it was overshadowed.
06:33One thing that we say,
06:35if it is on our side,
06:36as if it is not a thing that really happened.
06:40As we say, if in our hands there is Musahaf Al-Quran,
06:43no matter how angry,
06:45Musahaf will be kept in our hands because we know its glory.
06:48But we can imagine,
06:49what Allah SWT tried to depict,
06:52this rising anger,
06:54until it caused Prophet Musa AS to forget
06:57that what was in his hands was something that needed to be honored.
07:00That is our message for this verse.
07:03The lesson is,
07:04whatever anger is in our hearts,
07:07and even if it is a demand for us to be angry,
07:10but we must be angry in a controlled state.
07:13If something happens,
07:15whatever happens in our lives,
07:17we must control ourselves when we are angry.
07:19This is important,
07:20so that we do not act with something that we say
07:24may cause regret in the future.
07:27This is the biggest lesson for us.
07:29Thank you very much for explaining
07:32how the incident of Al-Qala Al-Wah,
07:35when Al-Wah, the Torah page was thrown,
07:39that is a great anger
07:41from Prophet Musa AS
07:43towards the polytheism that was carried out.
07:46But that is also a lesson
07:48where we may be angry at the moment,
07:50but hopefully,
07:51we know that there is Al-Quran
07:55that calms us,
07:57and it is a piece of wood
07:59for us to control our feelings.
08:02And it is described in the prayer of Prophet Musa AS
08:06in verse 151.
08:08Let us read first
08:10how the one who threw or pulled Prophet Harun's hair
08:17was actually something
08:19that Prophet Musa AS was angry about.
08:22Verse 151 with Ustaz Tirmizi.
08:24I hope you will like this.
08:55Peace be upon you.
08:57Peace be upon you too.
08:58Verse 151,
08:59Prophet Musa AS prayed,
09:01O Allah, forgive me and my brother
09:04and let us enter into your mercy.
09:06And You are the Most Merciful of all Merciful.
09:10This is a prayer.
09:12Before this,
09:13there was a prayer of Prophet Adam AS.
09:15When he made a mistake,
09:16رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِلَمْ تَغْفِرُنَا تَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُمْ نَنَّمْنَا خَوْا سِرِينَ
09:21He asked for forgiveness and mercy.
09:23Then, if we look at Bani Israel,
09:25when they were reprimanded,
09:26they asked for mercy and forgiveness.
09:28It was reversed a little.
09:29Then, back to Prophet Musa AS praying.
09:32The format was asking for forgiveness and mercy.
09:34But why was forgiveness asked for Prophet Musa AS
09:39and also for his brother,
09:41that is, for Prophet Harun.
09:42What is the mistake of Prophet Musa AS?
09:44What is the mistake of Prophet Harun?
09:46That is what we want to learn in a moment.
09:48We will first look at Quran Time.

29:04is by keeping our mouths shut
29:06and actually if we see
29:08this word is used and mentioned by
29:10some of the interpreters, it is not
29:12a verbal word, but it is a
29:14phrasal word
29:16how low
29:18the anger of Prophet Musa is
29:20by seeing himself being silent
29:22but he is doing an action
29:24to correct
29:26what has gone wrong because of the anger
29:28in the same verse
29:30God shows, if earlier when he was wrong
29:32or when he was angry, he did
29:34the mistake of throwing
29:36the plate away, then when
29:38the anger is reduced,
29:40he can think with the real
29:42mind, then he takes
29:44the plate that has been thrown away
29:46that is what is said, the lesson for us
29:48we will only be able to
29:50act with his voice, with
29:52the truth, if we are
29:54in a calm state, far from
29:56the element of anger that is not needed
29:58Allah Ta'ala knows
30:00this is a big lesson, when we talk about
30:02the event of Al-Qol
30:04Al-Wah, it has been thrown away, then
30:06when the feeling is controlled
30:08it can be taken back
30:10Al-Wah or in our context
30:12when it is calmed down, we can take
30:14back Al-Quran
30:16and at the same time
30:18it is a lesson for us, we must always
30:20take the Quran, always in a
30:22normal state, calm down always
30:24with the Quran, so that when
30:26the temperature rises
30:28all of a sudden, all of the
30:30calmness will
30:32reduce to
30:34nothing
30:36the temperature rises
30:38if the house is messy
30:40the words will come out
30:42but with Al-Quran that is
30:44trained every day, actually
30:46it does not negate the anger
30:48in this case, because of the
30:50chaos that happened, but
30:52Prophet Musa was fast, like in the hadith
30:54the Prophet was
30:56slow, and the calmness
30:58was perfect, very fast compared to
31:00some people who are just a little bit
31:02want to raise the temperature because
31:04of the interaction with the dhikr
31:06and also this Quran

33:38for the people of Prophet Musa a.s, even though they have committed sins for the people of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w
33:45we know that Allah's mercy for the people of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w is quite big
33:48but there is one sin that is not forgiven for the people of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w
33:51which is the sin of associating partners with Allah
33:53but especially for the people of Prophet Musa a.s
33:56for an event that has caused Allah's great mercy
34:00Allah's mercy for the people of Israel a while ago, they were given forgiveness for that story
34:05by giving them a life after that
34:08so Prophet Musa a.s chose 70 people from that group
34:13to come and worship Allah s.w.t
34:17as a form of expression of gratitude
34:21or to bring his people together to express their gratitude to Allah
34:25for their salvation from the destruction that followed
34:29what they have done was enough for their condition to be destroyed by Allah
34:33which is the worst kind of evil
34:35which is associating partners with Allah
34:37so when they appeared to the place that had been chosen for them to face Allah s.w.t
34:44that was the turning point
34:46so the question is, what was that turning point for?
34:49if we look at the first meeting of Prophet Musa a.s
34:54when he spoke to Allah s.w.t for the first time in the previous verse
34:58that was also a turning point
35:00when Prophet Musa a.s asked to see Allah s.w.t
35:04so Allah showed his existence and power
35:08through the turning point that Allah gave to a hill
35:11which eventually caused Prophet Musa a.s to faint
35:14so in the context of the same verse
35:16what has been shared by the interpreters
35:19that is, a turning point was shown which is called Rajafah
35:22and this Rajafah was used by Allah s.w.t for the depiction of the doomsday
35:26it is not just an earthquake
35:28which is said to be a turning point
35:30which we may not reach the stage of Rajafah
35:33Rajafah is a turning point which is indeed a very terrible earthquake
35:37which is used by Allah s.w.t for the doomsday
35:40the purpose is to show his power in front of the people
35:45which was finally revealed by Prophet Musa a.s
35:48after that, Prophet Musa a.s said
35:50O Allah, if the purpose of the earthquake is to destroy us
35:56then at that time, will we be destroyed
35:59due to the actions of some people who are stupid like us
36:03while not everyone does that
36:05so this verse does not mean that the purpose of the earthquake
36:08is to destroy the 70 people or Prophet Musa a.s
36:11who were involved in that meeting
36:13but to show Allah s.w.t's power
36:16if Allah s.w.t does this again,
36:18wait and see which earthquake
36:20it is not to give you a shock
36:23but to show that this earthquake will destroy you
36:28so that is a lesson for us
36:31when we see earthquakes
36:33which may not involve us in it
36:35but it is a signal from Allah s.w.t
36:38Allah can do more than that
36:40but Allah s.w.t still gives us a chance to live
36:43so that we can repent to Allah s.w.t
36:46Thank you, Ustaz Shamsul
36:47how this earthquake is actually a lesson
36:50as a warning
36:52and although we may not be involved
36:54and of course in this era
36:56when we see earthquakes in other places
36:59and earthquakes in the form of various challenges
37:01the lives of people around us
37:03that is a reminder to us
37:06do not wait until Allah shocks us
37:08and of course what was taught by Prophet Musa s.w.t
37:13when we see other people
37:15who are facing difficulties and trials
37:17that also invites us to ask for forgiveness
37:21so that the shock does not reach
37:25ourselves or our family
37:27let's take a short break
37:29Quran Time, Quran Salat and Ifaah
37:43Quran Time, Quran Salat and Ifaah
38:13Quran Time, Quran Salat and Ifaah
38:43Quran Time, Quran Salat and Ifaah
39:03The Jews had a lot of tombs.
39:06So, the Muslim soldiers couldn't enter the tombs.
39:09So, the Prophet said,
39:15I will give this flag to a man...
39:18...who will go through the tombs of Khaybar.
39:21He was a man who was loved by Allah and His Messenger.
39:25So, all the Sahabas were wondering who the man was...
39:28...who was loved by Allah and His Messenger.
39:30If I'm not mistaken, in the story...
39:32...Omar came to lift himself up...
39:35...so that the Prophet could see him first.
39:40But when all the Sahabas had gathered, the Prophet said,
39:43Where is Saidina Ali?
39:46If I'm not mistaken, at that time...
39:49...Saidina Ali was having an eye problem.
39:51So, the Prophet looked him in the eye.
39:54And it was Saidina Ali who held the flag...
39:57...and went to the tombs of Khaybar...
40:00...and opened the tombs that were closed.
40:28And record for us in this world...
40:33...a good deed, and in the Hereafter...
40:38...indeed, we are guided to you.
40:45Say, My punishment...
40:49...I use it against whomsoever I will.
40:55And My mercy encompasses all things.
41:03So I will hide it for those who fear Allah...
41:09...and give zakah...
41:13...and those who believe in My verses.
41:44In the time of Prophet Musa, was there zakah?
41:46Is it the same as it is now?
41:48We can see that it is one of the special syariah...
41:52...the syariah of zakah.
41:54It is a syariah that Allah has given to the Prophets...
42:00...even before the time of Prophet Muhammad.
42:02It is the same as the syariah of fasting.
42:05But for each era, there is a different syariah...
42:09...according to the stages, or we can call it...
42:11...the specified stages.
42:13But in general...
42:14...if we pay attention to this matter...
42:16...Allah has stated in Surah Al-Anbiya...
42:18...if we open verse 73...
42:20...it is clear that Allah has stated...
42:31How did Allah make from among the Prophets...
42:34...the leaders who brought signs to His people?
42:37And Allah has revealed to them...
42:39...it means that not only Prophet Muhammad...
42:41...who was revealed with the commandment...
42:43...to perform zakah...
42:45...but the Prophets before Prophet Muhammad...
42:47...may peace and blessings be upon him...
42:49...were also made to perform zakah.
42:52Therefore, we as the people of Prophet Muhammad...
42:54...should never feel burdened with zakah.
42:57How can we be encouraged...
42:59...not to feel burdened with our fasting...
43:01...when Allah states...
43:04...how Allah has made fasting...
43:07...for the previous generation...
43:09...before us.
43:11Therefore, we feel lightness...
43:13...in our fasting today.
43:15Similarly, to the other Prophets...
43:17...who have been made to perform zakah...
43:19...unlike us...
43:21...who are the people of Prophet Muhammad...
43:23...who are made to perform zakah...
43:25...we should never feel burdened.
43:27Actually, everyone who follows...
43:29...the guidance from Allah...
43:31...the faith that Allah has determined...
43:33...the Shariah that Allah has decreed...
43:35...they also accept the same obligation...
43:37...which is to perform zakah...
43:39...according to their own Shariah.
43:41Perhaps in verse 156...
43:43...when it talks about...
43:45...performing taqwa, performing zakah...
43:47...usually it is prayer and zakah...
43:49...but here it is zakah.
43:51Perhaps there is something...
43:53...that I would like to share.
43:55If we look at how zakah...
43:57...is the foundation for human life...
43:59...there are two elements...
44:01...in the life of the people of Israel...
44:03...which are wealth...
44:05...and power.
44:07That is the main element...
44:09...for the people of Israel.
44:11Therefore, among their worries...
44:13...if they follow the life of Prophet Musa...
44:15...they will lose the part...
44:17...that they are very proud of.
44:19Whereas in Islam...
44:21...the building of both human interests...
44:23...which we mentioned earlier...
44:25...which is power...
44:27...when it comes to zakah...
44:29...people only see it from the perspective...
44:31...that we are lucky...
44:33...because we accept zakah...
44:35...but in reality zakah begins...
44:37...when there are people...
44:39...who have enough wealth...
44:41...to be able to perform zakah.
44:43This means that the building of the economy...
44:45...begins with the performance of zakah.
44:47Therefore, those who follow...
44:49...the guidance of Shariah...
44:51...their economy will be strengthened first...
44:53...and only then...
44:55...will they be able to perform zakah.
44:57This is one of the things...
44:59...that we can see today.
45:01Speaking of zakah...
45:03...do not look at its acceptance...
45:05...but look at it first...
45:07...how to strive for its givers...
45:09...strengthen our economy...
45:11...and we will be a successful nation.
45:13Allah knows best.
45:15Thank you for explaining...
45:17...why zakah is given importance...
45:19...in this verse...
45:21...especially when it talks about...
45:23...when someone receives...
45:25...the blessings of Allah...
45:27...and then he spreads it...
45:29...to all mankind...
45:31...and not just keep it...
45:33...he enables himself...
45:35...with hard work...
45:37...in business...
45:39...in finding financial resources...
45:41...not just...
45:43...that's not the mindset...
45:45...that is given to...
45:47...believers...
45:49...who are praised in verse 156.
45:51So this is a big lesson...
45:53...for Muslims...
45:55...who are closer to the Quran...
45:57...to strive for...
45:59...to accumulate wealth...
46:01...not like the Israelites...
46:03...who do it for themselves...
46:05...if they can live up to a thousand years...
46:07...but because they want...
46:09...to spread it to...
46:11...to the community...
46:13...as a sign of mercy...
46:15...from Allah SWT.
46:17We pray to Allah SWT...
46:19...that we can all...
46:21...practice from two pages...
