00:00Al-Qur'an is a correct source, and it is certainly true when it is explained in the Qur'an.
00:07The Qur'an is a source of knowledge, and it is certainly true when it is explained in the Qur'an.
00:14Al-Qur'an is a correct source, and it is certainly true when it is explained in the Qur'an.
00:33This is important for us to understand between the division among the Muslims
00:38when they study other books from skin to skin, but leave what is in the Qur'an.
00:46Let's follow the discussion in this episode of Ulang Kaji.
01:03O Lord of the worlds!
01:20Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ Is there any of your partners who initiates creation and then repeats it?
01:38Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ Is there any of your partners who initiates creation and then repeats it?
02:08Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ Is there any of your partners who initiates creation and then repeats it?
02:36Alhamdulillah.
02:38Ustaz Tir, how are you?
02:39Alhamdulillah, Ustaz.
02:40Today we are together with Ustaz Shamsul.
02:43We are looking at verse 34.
02:46Just a moment ago, Ustaz read about,
02:48Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ Is there any of your partners who initiates creation?
02:53This is one of the aspects of the understanding of Tawheed, the correct belief in Allah SWT.
03:00Maybe before we go to verse 35, I want to ask Ustaz,
03:04when the early generation interacts with the Qur'an,
03:08they believe in the Qur'an,
03:12and they become a great generation that unites and elevates Islam.
03:18But what about later on?
03:23There are many books on the belief in Tawheed.
03:26So when we study those books,
03:28sometimes there are opinions here and there.
03:31What is the effect if we do not learn Tawheed from the Qur'an?
03:36This is from skin to skin,
03:38but we go from skin to skin to other books.
03:40What will happen?
03:41Please, Ustaz.
03:42BismillahirRahmanirRahim.
03:44Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh.
03:47Ustaz Fazrul and Ustaz Tirmidhi,
03:49who are together in today's discussion.
03:51This is an interesting question.
03:53How do we learn what is related to this religion,
03:57but not through its actual source?
04:00Especially in this era of artificial intelligence,
04:04it is becoming more and more challenging.
04:06People no longer learn from the original source.
04:08Instead, they only ask their teacher,
04:10the GPT teacher,
04:12or at the very least,
04:13they Google their answers from various sources.
04:17Of course, we say that something that is original
04:21is more guaranteed than something that has not been confirmed.
04:28Therefore, if we talk about everything that comes from this religion,
04:33the original or the most original,
04:36there is nothing more original than this.
04:38There are two sources that have been confirmed
04:41by the Prophet SAW,
04:44which are the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW.
04:48This is something that we cannot overlook
04:51as the main reference.
04:54Even if there are other sources,
04:57we only use them as an additional reference
05:00from what we already understand from the original source.
05:04For example, when we talk about Tauhid,
05:08we want to hear from God,
05:11who has created us,
05:14how we need to do Tauhid.
05:17That is where the commandment comes from,
05:19how we need to do Tauhid for Allah.
05:21If we hear from other sources other than Allah,
05:24then it is certain that it is not the same
05:29as how Allah wants us to do Tauhid.
05:33Therefore, we hope that all the people,
05:36especially those who are at the end of times,
05:38will always use the Qur'an as our main reference
05:43in our search for the way to do Tauhid for Allah SWT.
05:48I would like to reply to the Prophet SAW
05:50to explain how important it is
05:52when we want to deepen and get closer to Allah SWT,
05:56we need to return to the original source.
05:59Even though there are people who say,
06:02if I am a Malay person,
06:04returning to the original source is in Arabic.
06:06It should be dependent on other people
06:10who speak Malay to explain in Arabic.
06:13Maybe the comment is a bit broken there.
06:15It is interesting.
06:16Even though we need to refer to someone
06:19who knows Arabic,
06:21it is certain that the person who is referred to
06:23will answer,
06:24I am not referring to myself,
06:27I am referring to the Qur'an
06:29that you are intended to understand from there,
06:32and that is our reference.
06:34Or we can say the Arabs,
06:36those who understand the Arabs,
06:37even though they refer to their own books
06:39to explain to us about Tauhid,
06:42or their own writings,
06:44how to make Tauhid for Allah
06:46without being referred to the Qur'an.
06:48So how can Tauhid be understood
06:50as Allah SWT wishes?
06:53So our reference to those individuals
06:55does not mean that we refer to them absolutely.
06:58But we bring ourselves
07:00through what is taught to us
07:02by those teachers
07:04to understand Tauhid
07:06from what Allah SWT speaks to us.
07:09It is easiest to say how we understand Tauhid
07:12from Surah Al-Ikhlas, for example.
07:17If we understand Tauhid
07:18from the shortest Surah,
07:22Surah Al-Ikhlas,
07:24it is very easy for us to understand
07:26the concept of Tauhid
07:27that has been brought to us by Allah,
07:29and that is one of the three.
07:31The Prophet answered the question
07:33asked by the polytheists,
07:35tell us about your God
07:37and how is his desire to make Tauhid for him.
07:40Therefore, Surah Al-Ikhlas
07:42is the answer to that question.
07:44Thank you, Ustaz Shamsul,
07:46for explaining that the Qur'an
07:48can be accessed by everyone,
07:52and the more we return to the Qur'an,
07:55the clearer it is to everyone.
07:57And if the teacher explains it,
08:00it should be clearer,
08:01not more confusing
08:03with weird bombastic terms
08:06that make it seem that in the Qur'an
08:09it is easy for us
08:11to draw closer to Allah.
08:13This is the point of guidance
08:15that we always ask for
08:17in Surah Al-Fatihah,
08:19and in the 35th verse,
08:21the word Yahdi appears,
08:23and the word Yahiddi.
08:25What is the difference between these two terms?
08:27Let us first read verse 35
08:29with Ustaz Tirmidhi Ali.
08:31Please.
08:39Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 35
09:09Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 35
09:19Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 35
09:21Surah Al-Fatihah,
09:22this is the reading of verse 35.
09:24katakanlah adakah diantara sekutumu yang membimbing kepada kebenaran
09:28katakanlah Allah yang membimbing kepada kebenaran
09:31maka manakah yang lebih berhak diikuti
09:33Tuhan yang membimbing kepada kebenaran itu
09:36ataupun orang yang tak mampu membimbing
09:38bahkan perlu dibimbing
09:40di sini ada perkataan al-haqqa
09:42al-haqqa dan kemudian
09:44yahdi, yahiddi
09:46apa beza diantara perkara tersebut
09:48dan mengapa hidayah dan al-haqq ini berada berulang-ulang
09:51pada ayat 35

12:48yahidi illa an yuhda
13:18when there is an addition to an original word structure, it will lead to an addition of meaning
13:27and what is interesting, the word yahdi that we understand gives guidance
13:33is there someone or something that gives guidance that is referred to this verse, that is to Allah SWT
13:42how Allah created us, He is the one who gives guidance to us
13:47but at the same time, there is another word that is yahidi
13:51which actually if we look at the root word
13:54it is also based on the same word which is hada
13:58but the subdu is added to the dal
14:02and then the ha is added
14:04ladies and gentlemen
14:06even though we say it is based on the same word
14:10but actually it is from a different word
14:14if hada or yahdi is based on the word hada
14:19but if yahidi, the root word is from the word ihtada
14:24is there a difference in the meaning of the original word?
14:27yes, there is
14:28if we say hada gives guidance
14:31while ihtada gives guidance
14:35so if we look at the understanding of this verse
14:38Allah SWT places from the beginning of the verse in the form of his question
14:43is there anyone other than Allah who strives to give guidance?
14:49this question is not that Allah wants to ask to know our answer
14:54but the purpose of this question is that Allah wants to tell us something that we are aware of
14:59for example, now we are watching the program My Quran Time
15:03which people know will be broadcast usually in the afternoon
15:06we ask people, isn't it the afternoon now?
15:09everyone knows that it is the afternoon
15:11so when we talk about guidance
15:13it can only come from Allah who gives absolute guidance
15:18even though there are other people
15:21try to give guidance to us
15:23the absolute destroyer or the absolute giver of guidance is none other than Allah
15:28so it is decided from Allah that he is the only one who will give guidance to humans
15:34that is where Allah asks the polytheists in particular
15:39is there anyone who gives guidance?
15:42in this context, Allah who gives guidance to us through the Quran
15:47which was brought to us by our Prophet Muhammad SAW
15:50is this what we should follow?
15:53or is there anyone other than Allah who at one moment
15:57it is known that he does not provide guidance
16:02who is he in this context?
16:05at one moment, the polytheists
16:08they hope that the guidance is from their idols
16:12which is said, does not provide guidance
16:16the word layahiddi does not mean like layahdi or yahdi
16:23on the contrary, layahiddi means does not provide guidance
16:28let us imagine
16:29the word berhala-berhala
16:31if we look at the statement of Allah SWT in Surah Maryam verse 42
16:36at one moment, the principle of hujahan was used by Prophet Ibrahim
16:41open in Surah Maryam verse 42
16:43at one moment, when the people of Prophet Ibrahim worshiped berhala
16:48and one of the people involved in this was the father of Prophet Ibrahim
16:52then Prophet Ibrahim asked his father
16:56O my father, why do you worship something that cannot hear
17:10nor can it make you hear anything
17:13cannot see and cannot make you see anything
17:17it is even known from the berhala
17:20it cannot give you any benefit
17:23why?
17:24because the berhala itself has no benefit for it
17:27then where does Allah say
17:29should you follow Allah or something that does not need guidance
17:37for example, we say that something does not have knowledge
17:40how can we get knowledge from it
17:42then what was said about berhala
17:44Allah starts by saying
17:47this berhala has no knowledge
17:53how can you follow something that has no knowledge
17:56for you to get guidance
17:58what we know the origin of guidance is knowledge
18:01and what is interesting
18:03the word layahiddin
18:05there are four recitations
18:08the first one is
18:10like our recitation
18:12by Imam Hafan Nasim
18:15the second recitation is by Yahdi
18:19the third recitation is by Yahdi
18:22the letter H is omitted
18:24and also the letter D is omitted
18:26but it is recited with a recitation called ikhtilas
18:29and the fourth recitation is by
18:31Amallah Yahdi
18:33against Yahdi
18:35so here it is to tell us
18:37the understanding of layahiddin
18:39even though it is our recitation
18:41but in other recitations that came from the Prophet
18:44it means
18:46you will not follow something
18:48that originally has no guidance
18:51because berhala cannot hear
18:53cannot see
18:55cannot feel
18:56so how can he get information
18:58and of course something that does not exist
19:00that is so similar to the effort to get information
19:03he cannot give guidance to anyone
19:06so we go back to the initial question
19:09that only the one who has the right to give guidance
19:13Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
19:15I am sorry it is a bit long
19:17because Ustaz Fazrul is asking from the language point of view
19:19so we have to shorten it
19:20how do we understand the context of the verse
19:22hopefully you can understand it clearly
19:24with the explanation given by Allah
19:26I would like to ask Ustaz Shamsul
19:28to explain about the 35th verse
19:30it is challenging to read it
19:32Ustaz Tir, what else
19:34we want to understand about this concept of guidance
19:36if it is misunderstood
19:38then finally someone may look for the true guidance
19:42originating from the wrong source
19:45whereas Allah wants to state
19:47that the true guidance is from Allah
19:51and if there is an individual who explains it
19:54it must lead to Allah who knows
20:00at the end of the 36th verse
20:02Allah states
20:04Allah knows what they are doing
20:08once again we read the 36th verse
20:10with Ustaz Tir
20:33Allah knows what they are doing
20:50may peace be upon Allah
20:52may peace be upon Allah
20:53the 36th verse
20:54and most of them only follow assumptions
20:56actually the assumptions are not useful at all
20:58to oppose the truth
21:00Allah knows what they are doing
21:03this is what we would like to discuss
21:06in a short while
21:07what is the meaning of Dhan
21:09because usually when we study in a religious school
21:12there is Dhan, Waham, Shaq
21:14if possible Ustaz can explain
21:17and what is the difference
21:18between the people who
21:20adhere to Al-Haqq
21:23but let us take a short break
21:25Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
21:30Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:01Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:03Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:05Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:07Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:09Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:11Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:13Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:26Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:28Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:30Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:32Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:34Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:36Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
22:38one thing, I will mention the point that the professor has mentioned
22:41we realise that we can do that in the Islamic school
22:44that is one of the clues for me
22:47please give us some advice
22:49ok, ok
22:50this is actually not
22:51this is a common problem
22:54that we face
22:55and we pay attention to our friends
22:57for example, when I was studying
23:00there was a friend who did Isha Uqa
23:02Isha Uqa is Isha Uqa
23:04but in Ramadan, he can stop
23:06it means that he can actually stop
23:08he doesn't even open with Uqa
23:10some people open with Isha Uqa
23:12but he doesn't open with Isha Uqa
23:13he can stop in Ramadan
23:15after Ramadan, he starts Isha Uqa again
23:18so, I think this is the same as other things
23:22he likes to watch movies
23:24or watch bad things
23:26but in Ramadan, he can stop
23:28it shows that he actually has the strength
23:31to do those things
23:33but at the same time
23:35he actually needs a support system
23:43welcome back to Quran Time, Quran Salat Unfaq
23:45let's review page 213 and 214
23:48from Surah Yunus
23:51and we have already read verse 36
23:53how Allah says to those
23:56who choose the path of Zon
23:58which is what is translated as
24:00prediction here
24:02maybe the same as Fadhil Ustaz Shamsul
24:04can explain what is the difference
24:06between Zon, Waham, Shaq
24:08is it relevant in this verse
24:10and what is the difference with Al-Haq
24:12that we want to look for
24:14in our daily life
24:15please Ustaz
24:16how do we see the words
24:18the word used here is Zon
24:20and Zon is actually
24:22is one of the levels
24:24of knowledge
24:26for someone
24:28we know that in the level
24:30of knowledge for someone
24:32there are several levels
24:34that we can see there
24:36starting from Waham
24:38Waham is zero knowledge
24:40Waham has no knowledge
24:42it is empty
24:44if we go up a bit, we say Shaq
24:46because Shaq is fifty-fifty
24:48whether you know a bit or not
24:50there are still many doubts
24:52in him
24:54around 50%
24:56if we go up a bit from Shaq
24:58we go to Zon
25:00Zon is more like
25:02confidence
25:04but it is still not enough
25:06to say we are confident
25:08because there are still
25:10doubts
25:12that are still in him
25:14the highest level
25:16of knowledge for someone
25:18in terms of knowledge is
25:20confidence
25:22in 100%
25:24it reaches the highest level
25:26if someone is asked
25:28to him
25:30Ustaz Fazrul
25:32are you sure today is Sunday?
25:34say today is Sunday
25:36Ustaz Fazrul, are you sure today is Sunday?
25:38yes, if we say
25:40it is indeed Sunday
25:42with confidence Ustaz Fazrul will answer
25:44today is Sunday, it can't possibly change to another day
25:46based on that knowledge
25:48but if Ustaz Fazrul just woke up
25:50from his sleep, for example
25:52this morning or the day before
25:54just woke up, didn't see the time
25:56people ask, what day is it today?
25:58if he says yesterday
26:00I slept on Sunday, it is probably
26:02today is Sunday, then we say
26:04Zon, there is
26:06you are right, there is wrong
26:08but if it is Shaq, we say
26:10I am not sure what day is it today
26:12even though he knows it is still day
26:14in terms of noon and so on, if he says
26:16there is no knowledge at all, it means
26:18he is in a blur, maybe like you
26:20if the discussion about Yahdi
26:22with Allah, I hope you don't get it
26:24but we hope at least
26:26it is above 75%
26:28for understanding, if you want to understand
26:30again, watch this program
26:32InshaAllah, so here is where Allah
26:34mentioned, after Allah
26:36explained about the truth of Tauhid
26:38and how we need to get it
26:40from the source of Al-Quran
26:42as clear as this is the explanation
26:44that Allah has given to the people
26:46especially in the time of Prophet SAW
26:48still with them
26:50they are still choosing to
26:52follow other than
26:54what Allah has given to them
26:56which is Al-Quran and Hadith of Prophet
26:58they are willing to follow
27:00the guidance of their ancestors
27:02even though
27:04actually not from their ancestors
27:06but from their ancestors
27:08who have misguided them
27:10with baseless words
27:12and at that time
27:14even though they have the confidence
27:16to follow
27:18what their ancestors have brought
27:20with whatever reason
27:22for example, they were given
27:24money, power, etc
27:26but
27:28when they believe
27:30the wrong thing
27:32even though someone
27:34tries to believe it
27:36there will still be doubt
27:38because the wrong thing
27:40will not stay in someone's heart
27:42it will be shaken
27:44like we said, if we are
27:46really sure of something
27:48people say in the Middle East
27:50it is not shaking anymore
27:52it means it is not moving
27:54it is not shaking anymore
27:56but if we say there is a little doubt
27:58I am sure
28:00but when we say but
28:02even though in Al-Quran
28:04there is a place where the word Zan
28:06means confident
28:08for example in Surah Al-Baqarah
28:10Allah said
28:12they are really confident
28:14they will return to Allah
28:16they will meet Allah
28:18even though the confidence
28:20is used in the language of Zan
28:22but we understand
28:24why they use Zan there because we have not arrived there
28:26confident but not yet there
28:28not met with Allah
28:30if we say Zan means confident
28:32but there is another half
28:34in Zan Al-Quran
28:36the word Zan is used there
28:38it means doubt that is not confident
28:40for example when they
28:42argue with Prophet Hud
28:44in Surah Araf
28:46they say
28:52or they say
28:54or they say
28:58we see that you are
29:00not confident
29:02we see that you are a liar
29:04no matter how much they argue with their Prophet
29:06at that time
29:08their suspicions
29:10even though they have to show their confidence
29:12but
29:14after seeing the truth
29:16of the Prophet that they argued
29:18what was brought from the revelation of Allah
29:20how can they
29:22show their confidence
29:24even though they try to argue with their confidence
29:26but Allah still speaks
29:28that confidence is not 100%
29:30there are whispers in the heart
29:32saying what you are trying to argue
29:34is nothing but
29:36wet threads
29:38so here Allah says
29:40what the polytheists follow
29:42is nothing but
29:44mere suspicions
29:46Allah knows
29:48I would like to explain to Ustaz Shamsul
29:50these suspicions are not the way
29:52for us to reach the truth
29:54for Al-Haqq, Allah says
30:00these suspicions
30:02are useless
30:04they cannot bring
30:06to Al-Haqq
30:08even though they are clear
30:10but what is broken and false
30:12is still not right
30:14so what is the source of the truth
30:16of course what is said in verse 37
30:18we will read with Al-Fatiha

40:49Then will you make the deaf hear, even though they have no mind?
41:12Thank you for explaining the two capacities that Allah has bestowed upon us, namely hearing and sight.
41:21Those are two ways for us to acquire guidance in our lives.
41:26Guidance is of course bestowed upon everyone at any given time.
41:32However, the hearing is used to continuously reflect upon the guidance and witness the proofs,
41:42so that the eyes of the heart are opened towards the truth that comes from Allah.
41:49Therefore, those of you who are listening to religious programs, those who are listening to the Quran,
41:54this is actually a sign that we are truly appreciating the opportunity of guidance that Allah has bestowed upon us.
42:02And by using our eyes to read the Quran, to watch TV, to this program,
42:08hopefully that is also part of our contribution to appreciating the eyes,
42:12so that we can meet and see Allah one day in Jannatul Firdaus.
42:18At the end of this, let us all pray to Allah to continue to seek guidance,
42:24because guidance is a very precious thing.
42:27It has to do with gifts.
42:29The biggest gift is guidance.
42:31Let us pray at the end with Al-Fadhil Ustaz Chamsul Hakim.
42:48Al-Fadhil Ustaz Chamsul Hakim
43:18Al-Fadhil Ustaz Chamsul Hakim
43:48Al-Fadhil Ustaz Chamsul Hakim
44:04Ameen. Ameen.
44:06May Allah accept our prayers for today and accept our deeds for today.
44:11Thank you, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Chamsul.
44:13Let us all open page 213 and 214.

44:22And do not forget to join us in Tabung Gerahkan Al-Quran as an opportunity for you to contribute
44:28and also to call the number on the line to spread the achievement of My Quran Time.
