00:00The life of a father of a family in Antipolo has completely changed

00:08after his hand was cut due to a fight with his neighbor who was hurting his wife.

00:15The GMA Kapuso Foundation has hope for him and others like him.

00:26The call of a passenger.

00:29Sweeping the trash.

00:33And plucking fruits.

00:38That's what Ronald does to support his family.

00:42He can no longer find a regular job.

00:45Ever since his left hand was cut in 2010,

00:50he stopped noticing the beating of his neighbor to his wife.

00:56Until...

00:58he stabbed me with a samurai sword.

01:01Then he made me stand up.

01:04Ronald almost gave up and lost hope.

01:09But because of his children,

01:11he got up again and didn't notice the beating of others.

01:16He's hardworking, ma'am.

01:19He doesn't rest.

01:21As long as we can find food.

01:24In order to help Ronald's daily cleaning,

01:28the GMA Kapuso Foundation and LN4 Foundation

01:33gave him free arm and hand prosthesis.

01:37He can hold a lot of things.

01:39He can eat with his two hands.

01:42He can hold a glass.

01:44He can also ride a motorcycle or a bicycle.

01:48And because his teeth were damaged,

01:51we asked Dr. Emil Santos.

01:54We did oral prophylaxis on his teeth.

01:58We removed the decayed teeth.

02:00And then we gave him a prosthesis.

02:05We also visited his family in their house

02:08in Antipolo, Bitbit,

02:10at the grocery packs.

02:12I'm happy.

02:13I'm happy because I have a new arm.
