00:11In Marikina, there is still free laundry service, especially when there is a problem with the sewage system.

00:19One week after the floods in Marikina, the residents are still busy cleaning and removing the sewage.

00:35Like Giorna, she is trying her best to save the damaged items and clothes that can still be used.

00:42Because the flood reached their houses.

00:46What we were able to save were the clothes we wore.

00:49It was hard to start. We were able to segregate what we could still use.

00:54We were able to throw away what we couldn't use because we couldn't wash our clothes.

00:58Her husband also stopped looking for a job.

01:01His tricycle was also submerged in the floods.

01:04He is using it to go to Masada.

01:06As part of the continuation of Operation Bayanihan of the GMA Kapusu Foundation,

01:11we went to Barangay Tumana with Sparkle Star, Bianca Umani, to help.

01:18For me personally, I think my purpose in life is not only to make people happy, but also to help people.

01:26The GMA Kapusu Foundation is a perfect vehicle for me to be able to fulfill that purpose of mine.

01:32We were able to give 4,000 people food packs, vitamins for children, and salmon from the Bioderm Germicidal Zone.

01:40We also accompanied them with soap and water.

01:43To speed up their cleaning, we also provided free laundry services.

01:49We brought here automatic washing machines and dryers from our sponsors.

01:56It was free of charge because my skin is really white.
