00:00The GMA Kapuso Foundation and a few Kapuso stars continue to work to help those affected by the typhoon Karina and Habagat,

00:12including the thousands of residents from Malabon, Navotas, and Cainta in Rizal.

00:20Because of the floods in Tonsoya, Malabon, and Habagat caused by the typhoon Karina,

00:31the family of Eveline was forced to climb the roof this Wednesday.

00:36The floods reached the second floor of the house.

00:40The current of the water was too strong.

00:42From the second floor to the roof, even if it was difficult, we were able to climb the roof.

00:48Fortunately, the rescuers arrived at their location.

00:53The town of Cainta in Rizal was also flooded.

00:56So even though she was alone, Grace found a way to rescue her three young children.

01:03My children were up there until the water level rose.

01:08Then we just climbed the roof.

01:14In the aftermath of the typhoon Karina and Habagat, the GMA Kapuso Foundation quickly responded to the needs.

01:22With the help of donation food packs provided by Dindong Dantes and Marian Rivera,

01:28we were able to distribute help to 4,200 people from Malabon and Navotas.

01:36We also accompanied them with food from Alden Richards.

01:41More than 1,000 families from Cainta in Rizal received food packs, food bags, and blankets.

01:48And in every place where we provided help,

01:52we were able to distribute food, water, bread, and drink.
