00:19The second day of enrollment for incoming grade 7 students in Rizal High School in Pasig City has not ended yet.

00:25It's one of the high schools that has the most students in Metro Manila.

00:29Lola Carmen is one of the candidates.

00:32Along with her grandson who came all the way from Quezon City.

00:35We heard that the education here is good.

00:38As of now, there are 1,700 grade 7 students enrolled.

00:43And the school expects that their enrollment will increase by 3% this school year.

00:48Last school year, their grade 7 students reached 1,875.

00:54There is a public elementary in our catchment area.

00:59So we can see that we will increase our grade 7 students.

01:05They also expect this from the incoming grade 11 students.

01:08Although they will have a few limitations so that the quality of education will not be affected.

01:14But even though the number of students is expected,

01:18the school will still try to make the capacity of each class 40 students.

01:23So one way is to add more sections if necessary.

01:27But aside from the enrollment, the students and parents were also concerned about the medical screening.

01:33Rizal High School was established in 1902.

01:36But for the first time, the school had a medical screening.

01:40This includes the physical examination where the height and weight of the student is measured.

01:47Vital signs, blood pressure, and others are also taken.

01:50It is important for the students to have complete medical records.

01:53Why are our learners affected or unable to study well?

01:59It is because of their health.

02:01But there will also be other aspects to know.

02:04Especially there are children who have anxiety, depression, and others.

02:09Triggering factors, why are our learners not performing well?

02:14The medical screening is free because the No Collection Policy of DepEd is still in force.

02:19It is good for everyone because we will know if the students are healthy.
