11:55audiences got pretty excited.
11:57But no one could have anticipated
11:59that the duels timed together would be so brief.
12:01During Age of Ultron's final battle,
12:04the titular villain fires at the Avengers
12:06and other survivors of his attack.
12:08When Hawkeye is caught in the robot's path

12:41We were stunned when we saw the evil AI
12:43launch enough nuclear missiles
12:44to kill off most of Earth's population.
12:47But his global act of destruction was just a warmup.
12:50After Ultron acquired all the Infinity Stones,
12:52he gained the ability to travel to any universe.
12:55His curiosity about the multiverse
12:57eventually put him face-to-face with the Watcher.
13:00The cosmic narrator knew that Ultron
13:02could cause untold destruction across every reality.
13:05So many universes, so much chaos.
13:10They need to be silenced.
13:11You do not have to do this.
13:13With the fate of the multiverse at stake,
13:15the Watcher decided to fight the AI himself.
13:18We fully expected the cosmic being to dismantle the robot,
13:21but to our shock and horror, Ultron won their duel.

13:26looking out at the multiverse still chills us to the bone.

13:40Number 17, Liz's dad, Spider-Man Homecoming.
13:43Being a teenage superhero can be stressful.
13:46In addition to trying to stop Adrien Toomes, the Vulture,
13:49Peter Parker also has to deal with high school stuff,
13:51like Homecoming dance.
13:53I guess you already have a date to Homecoming.

14:28Sure, the movie's called Homecoming,

14:38not only more relatable, but arguably scarier.

15:04After Sam Wilson is entrusted
15:05with Steve Rogers' iconic shield,
15:07he's shocked to learn that the Avenger
15:09wasn't the only Captain America.
15:11The hero once known as Falcon is eventually introduced
15:14to a Black man and veteran named Isaiah Bradley.
15:17During the Korean War, the soldier became a super soldier
15:20and single-handedly liberated a prison camp.
15:22But he wasn't treated with a welcome home
15:25like Steve Rogers was.
15:26Instead, Isaiah was imprisoned and experimented on
15:29for 30 years by the country he fought for.
15:31You know what they did to me for being a hero?
15:36They put my ass in jail for 30 years.
15:41Carl Lumbly's moving performance
15:43makes this revelation especially heartbreaking.
15:45And while nothing can ever replace what he's lost,
15:48Isaiah has done some justice
15:50when he finally gets the recognition he deserves
15:52in a truly awe-inspiring scene.

16:01Number 15, Natasha's sacrifice, Avengers Endgame.
16:05The Avengers could only restore the lives
16:07taken by the Mad Titan
16:08by collecting all six of the Infinity Stones.
16:10That's why Natasha and Clint couldn't turn back
16:12when they discovered that they could only get the Soul Stone
16:15by paying a heavy price.
16:17Although Black Widow volunteered to give her life

29:35Cap brings the thunder.
29:37Avengers Endgame.
29:38Endgame has so many jaw-dropping,
29:40epic moments that we could have chosen.
29:42The portal scene alone had everyone shouting incoherently.
30:03But our pick goes to the moment slightly before that one.
30:07Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America
30:09face off in a 3v1 against Thanos.
30:11Things look dire for the God of Thunder
30:13when the other two are seemingly out of commission
30:15and Thanos has them at his mercy.
30:23That's when Thor's hammer Mjolnir
30:25rises and strikes the Mad Titan in the back.
30:28It then returns to Cap's hand.
30:31Fans were hopeful beforehand.
30:32And of course, a man as good as Steve Rogers was worthy.
