00:00It's Wednesday afternoon in Glasgow City Centre. This is Suckey Hall Street, one of the most

00:09famous city centre streets in Scotland, one of the most important streets in Glasgow.

00:17This is the long delayed avenues project upgrading the streetscape in Suckey Hall Street which

00:24is due to have been finished by now. Current projections have it finished for December

00:30which means that this is going to be the reality of the street as this work moves further down

00:36towards the top of Buchanan Street up until Christmas. Argyle Street, Buchanan Street

00:44and Suckey Hall Street have been identified as critical to the further development of

00:49shopping in the city centre. One of the reasons why this project is going ahead, one of the

00:55reasons why this is going to be hopefully a new prime location, unfortunately for the

01:03months ahead it's going to be looking a lot like this. You've seen pictures before but

01:13this is the reality. This is Glasgow City Centre for the rest of the year.
