00:00What is the role of the inter-exchange?
00:04The inter-exchange is fundamental to generate value, to give an advantage to the company,
00:09but also to generate a better climate within the company,
00:12and therefore, in fact, a topic of well-being for the individual and for the corporate community.
00:16This is becoming more and more clear, and this research shows us this topic.
00:20It is necessary to work, because the workers expect that there is an attention from the companies to these issues.
00:27Something very relevant and very interesting emerges,
00:30because we are no longer talking about a focus only on what is the retributive aspect,
00:35which is also present in a minority part of the sample,
00:38but we are talking about a great attention to life-work coordination,
00:42also to what is the flexibility of the place and of the time,
00:46where we work, when we work,
00:48and, in the second place, in the middle between these two, in our ranking,
00:52the topics of training, professional growth.
00:54These are the fundamental topics, the fundamental topics for the Italians when they think about work.
00:59These are topics that are transversal to the generations, that interest everyone.
01:04It is true that people with disabilities think more, for example, about a fixed place,
01:09and younger people expect more dynamic topics,
01:13and, in fact, more attention to the available time, to the free time outside of work.
01:19But, overall, the truth is that there is a fairly common perception.
01:23We were partly expecting this result, because it has been a trend for a few years now.
01:27What is less commonplace, instead, is the aspect of the valorization of intergenerationality.
01:33There is a lot of talk about the fact that generations struggle to coexist in companies.
01:38The truth is that, when you go to survey all this, you see that there is a wide availability.
01:42This availability, however, must be supported, favored by the companies themselves in Italy,
01:47and therefore it is very important to work in this direction.
01:50In particular, I would say that it is important to work on the youngest,
01:53because, compared to those of the middle and older age groups,
01:56they are a little less likely to think of the older generations as ideal generations to work with.
02:02While a 60-year-old person is much more likely to value the digital and creative ability of a young person,
02:08a young person is a little less likely to value aspects that he often recognizes in the older generations,
02:14such as, for example, the great experience, or also the ability to manage conflicts well,
02:18or difficult situations in the workplace.
