00:30Thank you for this interview, Walu. I want to know, how are you?
00:34How is MS band now in the professional moment?
00:37And we are in the middle of the year, we are almost finishing it, we are going to July.
00:41We left, imagine, the first week of July.
00:43So, tell me how is MS band? What projects do they have for the rest of the year?
00:48Well, first of all, thank you very much for the time you give us.
00:52We are happy, MS band, I think we are going through a very important stage,
00:57to continue our career.
00:59Grateful for everything that has come this year, 2024, which has been very satisfactory.
01:05We are enjoying the love of the people more than ever.
01:08After almost 21 years, we are about to turn 21 on June 16th.
01:12My age!
01:13Look, there we are.
01:15My age!
01:19I think that in these times it is not very easy, right?
01:22Yes.
01:24And above all, as we are arriving, right?
01:26We are not arriving worn out, we are not arriving tired,
01:29we are not arriving in any way, as we say here, in a hurry, right?
01:35We are with all the desire, with all the strength, with all the attitude.
01:38And above all, with more union than ever, right?
01:40So, that makes us very happy.
01:41You know, another thing is that there are 20 years, it's two decades.
01:45And you know that sometimes the Mexican regional music stayed very,
01:49just in that region, you know?
01:51In the north, or only for Mexicans.
01:53And now MS band is a boom, it is an international boom.
01:56But it has been a constant work.
01:58Of course.
01:59What has been the main challenge for you to reach so many people now, Juan?
02:03Well, look, the biggest challenge that we have MS band, so to speak,
02:10is the evolution, right?
02:12In all senses.
02:13And the evolution of music, the evolution of the music industry,
02:17has been a challenge for us, right?
02:19We are already people over 40 years old,
02:22we do not have the facility that children and young people have today,
02:25to be on social networks, to be on platforms.
02:27And that has been a challenge for us, to learn it, to try to get in.
02:31It has taken us a lot of work, but we have been there,
02:34trying to be within what modernity is, right?
02:38And this evolution.
02:39Finding the right people in our label, in our office,
02:43that also goes along with all this, right?
02:45I think it has been a very important challenge.
02:47Being a band for more than two decades,
02:50where we started in a stage of evolution,
02:58or rather, of music, where there were no platforms like the ones we know today.
03:02Where YouTube was just starting.
03:05Imagine, yes.
03:07We were a band that totally depended on the people, right?
03:11The people who listened to us live and who recommended us.
03:15Suddenly, in that time of piracy,
03:19I don't know if you remember, when people burned their records.
03:21Of course.
03:22And they were in the flea markets, in the flea market and everything.
03:25Do you remember? With the folder and the plastic bag.
03:28And only, and paradoxically, we depended on that.
03:32We depended on piracy to get to know each other.
03:34And now, with all this new,
03:36imagine how important it is now to be able to reach
03:40not only our people here in Mexico,
03:42but now all over the world.
03:44In the music of the MS band, I suddenly receive videos
03:46where they are listening to them in a restaurant in Japan,
03:48in Germany, in different continents,
03:52like Europe, Africa, Asia.
03:54And that fills us with great pride.
03:56And all this is thanks to the evolution that has taken place.
03:58Concerts, what will happen, finally, in the rest of the year?
04:02Tell me a little about your professional projects.
04:04What are we going to be able to see from you?
04:06Thank God, there is a lot of work.
04:08There are concerts.
04:12Our agenda is already marked from the beginning of the year.
04:16Because we are practically going every year
04:18to the cities we went to last year.
04:20And suddenly new cities are added.
04:22But that's it, doing the tour
04:24with the cities that we have already visited before.
04:26But yes, definitely renewing the show.
04:32Nourishing it more and more.
04:34Bringing a show of quality more and more.
04:36I think it has been part of the evolution as a band.
04:38The learning that we have achieved and the growth
04:40has been in all senses, fortunately.
04:42And people can realize in each show
04:44that the comments are,
04:46wow, I liked it more than last year.
04:48That's the beautiful thing.
04:50Renewing, that's important too.
04:52Well, Walo, I thank you very much.
04:54How good that you are participating
04:56in the list of the 50 most beautiful.
04:58And we hope to have news from you very soon.
05:00And when you come to New York, please do not hesitate to tell us.
05:02Thank you very much.
05:04Thank you to all the people here in Spanish.
05:06And thank you for the time you give us.
05:08Thank you.
05:10Thank you very much.
