00:00We're doing outstanding now that we got you on the horn.
00:18How many times did you compete in this derby?
00:21I did it twice.
00:22I did it in Colorado and then I did it in Houston.
00:27I think it was 2004, but I wasn't in the All-Star game.
00:31I didn't make the All-Star team, but they invited me to be a part of the Home Run Derby
00:36that year.
00:37Yeah, need a little bit more firepower there.
00:39Rafi's definitely the guy if you need that.
00:41What's your favorite home memory of competing in that?
00:45I mean, it's just an incredible field, man.
00:47The first one I did in Colorado, didn't know what I was getting into, but just being on
00:53the field and then when it was my turn, I mean, it's not like a game because when you're
00:58playing in a game, I mean, everybody's out there, everybody's playing, but when you're
01:02just by yourself and all the attention's on you and all the camera's on you, it's a little
01:06bit nerve-wracking, but once we got started, I was fine.
01:10It was a lot of fun.
01:12The format was a little bit different because we had 10 outs, so you could kind of step
01:17out and take some pitches and take a little break.
01:20Now they do it where it's just, they don't take a break hardly, but I mean, it's just
01:25a great time, man.
01:27The ones that I did, I had a blast.
01:29I won my first round in both, and then I got beat in the second round.
