00:25for giving priority to local industry and commerce through the TATAC-Pinoy Act.

00:31Today marks a significant stride in our journey towards a prosperous new Philippines

00:41through proudly Philippine-made products.

00:44Because of this, the Pinoy market is booming all over the world.

00:52That's why we have TATAC-Pinoy.

00:54Under the TATAC-Pinoy Act, various government agencies are mandated to buy or sell

01:01from local businessmen in the country.

01:04There are many products and things that can be sourced locally.

01:09The mandate is, of course, we need to source products that are available locally,

01:17that meet the price, meet the quality, follow the standards.

01:22The market of your product is the government.

01:25Because of this, the pride of our own and the desire of the Filipinos to be prosperous is elevated.

01:33Along with the enactment of the TATAC-Pinoy Act is the Inclusive Industrial Transformation.

01:42with high quality, innovation, and sustainability.

01:45To propel Philippine enterprises toward producing diverse, sophisticated,

01:53and high quality products and services.

01:57At present, the TATAC-Pinoy program has four priority clusters.

02:02Because 62% of the country's exports are in the semiconductor and electronics industry,

02:07the DTI wants to increase and strengthen it.

02:11The e-vehicle industry is also a priority.

02:14The Philippines wants to tax the global automotive industry

02:18including battery manufacturing and charging infrastructure.

02:21The creative industries will also support it.

02:24We are prioritizing the development of all creative industry clusters.

02:29We envision a future where our artists, designers, and innovators

02:36lead the way in cutting-edge technological advancements.

02:41Because of the TATAC-Pinoy Act, the country's export market performance will increase.

02:45And the number of Filipinos with jobs or businesses is also expected to increase

02:50because of the opening of new opportunities.
