00:00Just on Liverpool's success going into this season, obviously they are going to be aiming for a trophy.
00:07Do you think a lot of Liverpool fans would settle for one trophy if the season was to end tomorrow?
00:13I think so, yeah. I mean, it's a challenging man's city. It's becoming almost impossible now, isn't it?
00:19I think everyone accepts it. Arsenal are obviously up there and Chelsea are going to be maybe up there.
00:27It depends on how they get on. It's going to be so competitive for the top four.
00:31I think that's the first aim for Liverpool, getting to the top four.
00:35Some people would have called the League Cup a Mickey Mouse trophy,
00:42but Liverpool have won it two times in three years. There's no club that have won it more in the past.
00:47I think fans enjoy going on these days out to Wembley, to be honest with you.
00:50I think there was a period where Liverpool weren't in big finals enough.
00:56I still think they're getting enjoyed. They're not getting taken for granted whatsoever.
01:01The FA Cup as well would be great to go on and run on that.
01:06Can they challenge in the Champions League?
01:07Well, it'll be interesting won't it?
01:09Because it's going to be competitive, competitive again, as it always is.
01:13And the two extra games will make things interesting.
01:16But as you say, if Liverpool finish top four and win a trophy,
01:20then I think that that would be probably a job done for Arnold Slott,
01:24who's first season as well.
01:25He got locked on saying that he gets a free pass.
01:28But you've got to accept that it's going to be a little bit of a transition as well.
01:31And Liverpool are still a young squad.
01:33And yeah, as his ideas come across, maybe the season after,
01:37you might want them to properly challenge for a title again.
01:40But no, it's certainly an interesting time.
