00:59more than Php 180 billion was lost to the country in one year due to the negative image of Pogo.

01:11We have, for instance, foregone investment due to crime.
01:16We also have foregone revenues from tourism
01:20basically because of that negative picture of having Pogo activities in the Philippines
01:33may in fact affect the tourism industry.
01:37In another open letter, some groups called on President Bongbong Marcos
01:42to order the PAGCOR to cancel all licenses of Pogos who claim to be from China.
01:49It is illegal for any type of gambling in China.
01:52This is contrary to the regulations of the PAGCOR
01:55that prohibits any gaming websites in the Philippines from accessing the country where gambling is prohibited.
02:02Somebody is making a lot of money, but we've got to stop it.
02:06We are fooling ourselves.
02:08And if you are the president, this is the moment,
02:11this is the specific circumstance that the president should step in.
02:16Because the people below, the PAGCOR is under the office of the president.
