00:00Well we've got to get the economy moving and there should be no surprises about the measures which
00:05are in the King's Speech today. We talked a lot about this during the election. We mean changing
00:11the planning laws to get more houses built, to get more infrastructure built, changing the transport
00:18system to make that work better, devolving more power to local areas. A lot of measures to get the
00:26economy moving and get Britain working again. If we don't change anything we'll just have a
00:32generation of young people for whom the dream of home ownership is never realised. We're not
00:38building enough houses in this country. We'll always consult with local authorities. We'll
00:43always put Brownfield first but at the end of the day we have to build more houses and that's what
00:49we intend to do. Well one of the first things we did after the election was inviting all the elected
00:54mayors from around the country and they're with us on getting things built. It's simply not the
01:00case that they were sitting there saying we don't want more housing in our area, we don't want more
01:06infrastructure. They want this to happen so I'm looking forward to a good and positive partnership
01:12between us and locally elected people to get the country moving again
01:17and measures to do that will be in the King's Speech today.
