00:00My father was a cancer patient.
00:19I hitchhiked a lorry to come to Templer Hospital at that time.
00:26When I reached Templer Hospital, I sat behind the lorry, my face was all black, there was no place to bathe.
00:31I believe that many cancer patients who come afar, they need lodging.
00:37And I don't want them to sleep in the car or the corridors.
00:41RM Warangya House is nearer to IKN, it's about 5 minutes drive, 10 minutes walk.
00:47I believe it can help a lot of cancer patients who come from outstation.
00:50Donaza, an old woman, 72 years old, she has a pension, she doesn't know what to do for her child.
00:57She asked me, where do you want to build the house?
01:01I said, let her find it at IKN.
01:04So she searched and found it.
01:06So she told me, just build a house.
01:11It's not a house, it's a house for us to live freely.
01:14And we use a hotel for RM1.
01:16We have a hotel that the patients can stay for RM1 only, overnight.
01:22We pay the balance.
01:23Now we use about 5 hotels.
01:26We have 5 houses.
01:28Not only that, we also provide temporary accommodation for domestic abuse.
01:35If they are kicked out of the house at night and can't find a place to sleep, they can go to our house.
01:40The crisis has been resolved.
01:47I feel very supportive.
01:48When cancer patients have new ideas, we grab the chance and opportunity to work with them.
01:54So I'm very grateful.
01:57The purpose of RM1 is more for non-Muslim caregivers and patients.
02:03So it's easier for us because there are a lot of people.
02:07We see an increase from year to year.
02:10For example, the rate of occupancy is already 66%.
02:15On a daily basis, it can reach 90%.
02:18Because of RM1, the patients who are forced to move to IKN
02:23don't have to go back to their place.
02:26Maybe they are kicked out.
02:28So they stay here during the treatment.
02:31We see that in the report, there is a decrease in the number of cancer survivors
02:36because of our campaign to vaccinate them.
02:39So it's the same for the others.
02:41So if there are early signs, we vaccinate them.
02:46It's faster to get the vaccine.
02:48Or if they are under 40 years old, we vaccinate them.
02:52It's prepared in the clinic.
02:54So we grab the chance to get the vaccine early.
