फिल्म कल्कि 2898 AD को कल्कि पीठाधीश्वर आचार्य प्रमोद कृष्णम की ओर से कानूनी नोटिस भेजे जाने के मामले की जानकारी देते हुए वकील उज्जवल शर्मा ने बताया कि जो नई फिल्म कल्कि 2898 ए.डी. आई है उसके डायरेक्टर, प्रोड्यूसर और एक्टर को एक लीगल नोटिस हमने भेजा है। यह फिल्म हिंदू धर्म को ठेस पहुंचाती है। श्रीमद्भागवत में, कल्कि पुराण में, भविष्य पुराण में जैसा वर्णन किया गया है उसे इस पिक्चर में गलत तरीके से दिखाया गया है। भगवान विष्णु विष्णुयश के घर में संभल में पैदा होंगे और उन्होंने फिल्म में भगवान को आर्टिफीशियल इंन्टेलीजेंस के जरिए दिखाया गया है। हम इन्हीं सब बातों का विरोध कर रहे हैं। अगर निर्माताओं ने फिल्म के अंदर बदलाव नहीं किया तो हम फिर कोर्ट भी जाएंगे।
