00:00I am very excited. Ghonsla Ka Ghonsla is one of the best films of my career. It has also

00:11earned the status of cult classic. Cult classics are those films that you want to watch again

00:16and again. If they are coming on TV or anywhere, you start watching them from where they start.

00:22It is a very good thing that the producer has thought of re-releasing it on 18th October

00:28because it will always be out there. It will have dialogues, characters, it will have

00:35a world of its own. It will always start from where it left off. It is a very fresh contemporary

00:47film for today's generation as well. So I am very excited.

00:49I don't underestimate today's generation. I think they are very bright, they are very

01:00smart, they have a great sense of humour. And this film has a great sense of humour.

01:05That is why I said it is a Gen Z film. It is a cool film. If you watch a lot of my previous

01:12films, if I say I have a cool film, it is Ghonsla Ka Ghonsla. It is one of them.

01:19It was not that easy to make this film because there were financial issues. It is very difficult

01:35to make a film like this because it has an unusual star cast. The story was fantastic.

01:41We used to stay together. The producer used to have money, sometimes he didn't. But we

01:48somehow, and this is not to undermine or make the producer feel small, this is to tell them

01:55that despite all this, the film was made. The credit goes to the actors, the director,

02:02the producer, the writer and the producer. But there were a lot of difficulties.

02:07In the month of June, we were shooting in Old Delhi. It was hot, we didn't have vans,

02:15vanity vans, coolers etc. There was only one cooler for the actors in my room. So everyone

02:23used to sit outside. But I knew that on an individual level, if this film is not made

02:30and stops in the middle, then it will never be made. So I used to keep people busy in

02:35games, used to order food sometimes. But that film gave us relationships for a lifetime.

02:43Today, all the cast of that film, our relationships with all of them are very beautiful.

02:48The producer, Savita ji, told us that she has been talking about the sequel of Khosla Ka Ghonsla

03:00for the past 2-3 years. But she hasn't told us about it, nor has she given us the script.

03:05But if this happens, and if the script is good, then it should be made and we will definitely

03:11work on it.

03:12I am very happy. Unchai was a very different kind of film and Suraj Barjatia worked very

03:24hard on it. So I am very proud that Suraj Barjatia has got the Best Director. He deserved

03:32it and I am so happy. And so is Neena Gupta, who is getting the Best Supporting Actress

03:36Award. I am very happy about this.

03:43I am getting a lot of praise for my Signature. And this film, Vijay 69, is going to be released

03:52on Netflix. I have heard that the Emergency will finally be seen in theatres. I am very

04:00happy about this.
