Sneak peek inside Preston's Black Sheep Coffee

Take a look inside the first Black Sheep Coffee to open in Preston and the whole of Lancashire.

00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon. Popular coffeehouse chain Black Sheep Coffee is opening

00:07its first branch in Lancashire this week. Currently there are 100 stores across the

00:12UK with 40 of these opening this year. Their new store will be located in Preston and today

00:19I'm heading down to have a sneak peek at what it looks like inside.

00:23So the world's newest Black Sheep Coffee, set to open on July 25th, is located on Fishergate

00:29in Preston city centre at the site of the former fatface which closed down over two

00:34years ago. The inside has been completely transformed from a clothing store to a modern

00:40coffee shop. To the left is a service counter and then just one of the many modern artworks

00:45displayed on the wall. There are also dog bowls on the floor because the brand's ethos

00:49is all about being welcoming to everyone, even your four-legged friends. As you can

00:54see more funky wall art continues and there are modern ordering screens at the front.

01:00The large space is then filled with plenty of seating options from bar stools to comfy

01:05sofas, all of which come with charging points making Black Sheep Coffee an attractive base

01:10for home workers or office outings. The quirky and modern look fits in with Black Sheep Coffee's

01:17reputation for being an innovative and unique coffeehouse but a team member can explain

01:22that better than me. So let's hear from the Preston franchisee partner.

01:26Hi, hello everyone, my name is Haris and I'm the franchise partner for Black Sheep Coffee,

01:33about to open in your wonderful city of Preston. So a bit about Black Sheep Coffee, Black Sheep

01:39Coffee launched in the year 2013 by two university mates, Eric and Gabriel. From then on in a

01:47period of just 11 years we've actually opened over 100 Black Sheep Coffees across the, not

01:53just across the UK but across the world. So the 100th Black Sheep Coffee just opened recently

01:59in Abu Dhabi, whereas our store in Preston is going to be the 103rd store. So what makes

02:05Black Sheep Coffee unique is just not the environment that we create, the wonderful

02:10atmosphere that we create for our customers, but also our speciality coffee which is the

02:15Robusta coffee, which is got naturally twice as much caffeine as your normal Arabica beans,

02:23really really popular and one of my favourites. And apart from coffee we've got other product

02:29ranges as well such as a lot of ciabattas, hot food, sandwiches and my favourite, matchas,

02:36which I'm sure are going to be a hit in Preston. So please join us on Thursday, 25th July on
