00:00Vice President Sara Duterte, who left the office of the Police and Security Group for her protection,

00:10said that she relieved all 75 police officers who were assigned to her office in accordance with the order of the PNP chief.

00:19The vice president assured that this will not affect her work.

00:24She hoped that this directive will give way for her to focus more on the fight against drugs and crime.

00:31However, the PNP chief, Police General Romel Matil,

00:34reduced the number of security personnel not only in the office of Vice President Sara Duterte,

00:40but also among the retired generals.

00:43They said that more people were needed in the NCO.

00:46The PNP chief also insisted that the security of the office of the vice president

00:50is not under the control of the PNP, but of the Presidential Security Command,

00:54just like the office of the president.

00:56Marville clarified that they did not relieve or remove the police officers from their positions,

01:00but they were assigned to regular rotation.

01:03According to PSC Commander Brigadier General Nelson Morales,

01:07they are ready to give security to the vice president.
