00:00One day, I told her, you're going to be a mother, what are you going to imitate, what are you not going to imitate?

00:21The first advice I gave her was not so much that I'm not going to imitate,

00:25but I want to imitate her nurturing and many other things that she said.

00:30Her concept is that being a mother is my mother.

00:36My takeaway is whether deliberate or not, mothers and daughters, mothers and sons shape each other's lives.

00:47There is and there really is.

00:48This is a very clear example of almost fierce love for each other.

00:59Because she's a mother, I will protect my daughter.

01:02I think they're slowly discovering also, she's 19, what is best for them.

01:08My takeaway is do not be afraid to embrace that you are a work in progress.

01:14And that's where Jillian and her mom are.

01:19And she embraces that.
