00:00In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:02Respected viewers, Peace be upon you.
00:05A people of Sarsar, which is also known as the people of Saba,
00:10was living in countless blessings of God Almighty.
00:15This people was the owner of a great civilization and civilization.
00:19After the great governments of Hazrat Dawood and Hazrat Suleman,
00:25their government was special and common.
00:29It is said that these people used to grind wheat flour and make rotis.
00:34But they were so wasteful and ungrateful
00:38that they used to clean the children's kitchen with their rotis.
00:43By collecting those plump rotis, a mountain was formed.
00:48One year old man saw a woman passing by
00:52who was cleaning the children's kitchen with the roti.
00:57The man said to the woman,
01:00I am sorry for you, fear God.
01:03I am afraid that God will take away your blessings.
01:09The woman replied jokingly and arrogantly,
01:14Go, go, as if you are scaring me with hunger.
01:18As long as Sarsar is going on, I have no fear of hunger.
01:25It was not long that God Almighty
01:28took His wrath on the greedy and greedy people.
01:33The water which is the foundation of life,
01:36was taken away from those people.
01:39The famine was brought down to the point
01:42that all the food they had saved was finished.
01:46In the end, they were forced to rely on those plump rotis
01:50which they had collected and piled up like a mountain.
01:55In fact, it took a line to take roti from there
01:59so that everyone could take their share of roti from there.
02:03There are many traditions about Kufran-e-Nimat,
02:06Kahat and their mischief.
02:09In Surah Nahl, verses 112 and 113, it is said,
02:16And Allah has also mentioned the example of Usqariya,
02:20who was safe and secure.
02:22His provision was coming from all sides.
02:26But the people of Usqariya refused the blessings of Allah,
02:30so Allah made them taste hunger and thirst.
02:34Only on the basis of their deeds,
02:37which they were doing,
02:39and certainly a messenger came to them,
02:43so they reprimanded him,
02:45and then the punishment came to them
02:48that they were all oppressors.
02:51Another incident about this nation of Saba is stated
02:55that they had built a very large dam
02:58between the two mountains of Balak
03:01to store water to better cultivate their crops.
03:07The water from Surah and other mountains
03:10used to come into that dam and accumulate in large quantities.
03:14The people of Saba took advantage of that water
03:18and set up vast and beautiful gardens
03:22and brightened the agricultural land.
03:25The branches of the trees in those gardens
03:28were so full of fruit
03:30that it is said that if a person
03:32kept a basket on his head and passed under it,
03:35the fruit would automatically fall into the basket
03:38and within a short period of time
03:40the basket would be filled with fresh fruits.
03:43There were many villages and villages of that nation
03:46which were very populated and connected to each other.
03:49But the abundance of blessings
03:51had made them dizzy and heedless
03:53instead of being grateful.
03:55So much so that a very large class system
03:58had come into existence between them.
04:01Among them, the powerful people
04:03had started sucking the blood of the weak and the weak,
04:07so much so that they made an important request to God
04:11which can be seen in Surah Saba verse number 19.
04:16They said,
04:17O God, increase the distance between our journeys.
04:21They made this request to God
04:24so that poor and needy people
04:26should not travel with rich and wealthy people.
04:30Their desire was that there should be
04:33a lot of dryness and distance between them
04:37so that poor and needy people
04:40should not travel like them.
04:43God sent His wrath on the priests of those proud people.
04:48According to some history,
04:50the desert rats attacked the walls of the
04:53tent called Ma'arib far from the eyes of those proud people
04:57and made them hollow from inside.
04:59It rained heavily from there
05:01due to which a flood came
05:04and a lot of water accumulated in that tent.
05:08Suddenly the walls of the tent broke
05:11and a very big flood came from it
05:13in which all the villages, settlements,
05:16livestock, gardens, farms, their palaces and houses
05:20were submerged in water and were destroyed.
05:24Only a few yellow and berry trees and some bushes
05:28were left in the desert.
05:31The happy birds had fled from there
05:34while the owls and crows had made their nests
05:38in the ruins of the people of Saba.
05:41This is mentioned in Surah Saba Ayat 15 and 16.
05:47And finally, in Surah Saba Ayat 17,
05:50the Holy Quran has drawn the conclusion of this incident.
05:55We have punished their ungratefulness
05:58and we do not punish anyone other than the ungrateful.
