00:00My name is Curtis Dixon and I'm incredibly humbled and honoured to be the Mayor of Lisburn and Castle
00:06Ray for the year 24-25. I am delighted to have been chosen by my Alliance Party colleagues to
00:13serve in this position for the year ahead. I'm from Lisburn and I'm incredibly proud to be the
00:19Mayor of the city of which I have grew up. This year I will have two main themes which I hope to
00:25weave throughout my Murrell year. The first of which is the environment and the second of which
00:31is mental well-being. As Mayor I also have the incredible opportunity to choose a Murrell
00:37charity and I am delighted to announce that my charity for this year is Emerge Counselling
00:42Services. The work that CEO Samantha Evans and her team do is truly incredible and quite often
00:50life-saving. So to have this incredible local charity as my Murrell charity for the year is a
00:56real pleasure and I can't wait to get to work for them and I know the people of Lisburn and
01:01Castle Ray will get behind this incredible local charity. Once again I am incredibly
01:07honoured to serve in this position and I look forward to the year ahead. Thank you.
