Ashwini Vaishnaw on Funds Allocate to AP Railway: ఏపీలో రైల్వేలకు ఈ ఏడాది 9,151 కోట్లు కేటాయించినట్లు కేంద్రమంత్రి అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్ తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రంలో మొత్తం 73,743 కోట్లతో రైల్వే ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అమరావతి, విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్ల అభివృద్దికి కేంద్రం కట్టుబడి ఉందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. ప్రస్తుతం జరుగుతున్న పనులను వేగంగా పూర్తిచేసేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామన్నారు.

00:07In the state of Andhra Pradesh, this year, the allocation for railways is 9,151 crore.
00:15This is 10 times the budget which used to be there in the UPA period for the total AP
00:22plus Telangana railway development.
00:27Andhra Pradesh state is also, the entire railway network is now 100% electrified.
00:33There are projects worth 73,743 crore worth projects are ongoing in the state of Andhra
00:42Pradesh.
00:43Then 73 stations are being developed as Amrit stations.
00:47And since 2014, a record number of flyovers and underpasses have also been constructed
00:54in Andhra, which is 743 flyovers and stations have been constructed and underpasses have
01:01been constructed.
01:02The South Coast Railway Zone, which is a very important matter, land which was earlier offered
01:12had a major issue because it had backwater coming from a neighboring water body and within
01:18the land records that was recorded as a water body land.
01:24So that's why we had continuously requested the then state government to allocate a new
01:30land.
01:32And recently, our, my cabinet colleague, Sri Naidu, he has, Ram Mohan Naiduji, he has gone
01:40and visited DRM office and he has had the discussion about the suitability of the land.
01:47I have also discussed with him here in Delhi, and then we have requested the Honorable
01:53Chief Minister to quickly identify a new piece of land where the construction work can start.
02:00So we are rapidly, we are continuously engaged with the state government and hopefully the
02:04next steps will come very soon.
02:07Very important point, the Amravati line is a very important project which will connect
02:12the new capital with the entire railway network.
02:16And this is a, this will basically give a very good connectivity to Amravati.
02:23It's a 2047 crore project, 56 kilometers, there is one major bridge also, river Krishna.
02:31Because of a major bridge on a river, that's why the cost is of this magnitude.
02:37This has recently been, the DPR has recently been approved by the Niti Aayog and now it
02:44will go for next steps of approval.
02:46It will take some time, but the project is progressing very well.
02:51This is from Vijayawada, this is Vijayawada Junction, slightly above Vijayawada Junction
02:56we have a place called Erupalam.
02:59From Erupalam there is a take-off, from there it comes without going into the reserve forest.
03:05There is a reserve forest called Kondapalli, Kondapalli reserve forest.
03:10So it bypasses the reserve forest, then comes, then Krishna river is there, crosses the Krishna
03:16river and comes to the Amravati station, then goes down Nambur station.
03:23I told you the DPR has been prepared and now the Niti, after railway board has approved
03:28it, Niti Aayog has approved it, now it will go to the next steps of approval.
03:32It takes some time because it is a very large project, 2000 plus crore.
03:37Vijayawada railway station is a very important junction, very complex junction because huge
03:42traffic is there through Vijayawada.
03:44So that is why the master plan has been done in a very careful way, looking at 30-40 years
03:49ahead.
03:50So the station is progressing well and I will request the GM sir to make sure that some
03:56of the media friends can go and visit it.
04:00Please go and visit the stations, lot of progress is there, many stations the work has come
04:05up to 3rd level, 4th floor, 5th floor, very good progress.
