00:00Artificial intelligence is everywhere and has, of course, made its way to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
00:07At the Intel stand at the Stade de France, you can use AI to test your body strength to see which sport you best perform in.
00:15For the moment, it includes 12 sports, such as football, table tennis and sprinting.
00:20Let's see how it works.
00:22My body is scanned and put to the test to see my reactions, strength and speed.
00:29Intel is the official AI platform partner for Paris 2024.
00:34But this tech is not just for spectators at the Games.
00:38It could spot the next sporting talent anywhere in the world.
00:42We did a really great experience in Senegal with the IOC where we actually took very similar technology to Senegal
00:49and worked with the Senegalese Olympic Committee to identify the next set of Olympians.
00:54So we tested over a thousand children in Senegal, all around the country, using mobile phones and AI platform technology
01:02to identify which athletes have that potential to be the next Olympian.
01:07I hope that this technology has a role to play and we think that it's going to expose so many more opportunities for athletes around the world.
01:14You can reach areas at a very low cost and figure out how to find athletes in all corners of the world and for all sports.
01:21As for me, I'm probably not going to be the next Olympian, but it turns out my strengths lie in heptathlon.
