00:14The National Bureau of Investigation or NBI arrested a Chinese national who is the owner of an online lending application
00:23that allegedly delivered cassette and funeral flowers to borrowers who failed to settle their obligations on time.
00:29Aside from the loan app called 24 Peso, the suspect also owns five more lending apps which are being investigated by authorities.
00:37The Chinese suspect is facing various criminal cases in Pase City Regional Trial Court.
00:43The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency or PIDEA reported 45.68 billion pesos worth of narcotics were seized under the Marcos administration thus far.
00:54In its latest report, over 1,000 drug suspects were arrested, including more than 6,000 high-value targets in around 74,000 anti-illegal drug operations nationwide.
01:06The firm behind the controversial advertising campaign that replaced Hilpuyat Street signs to Hiltulog apologized to the family of the late Senate President and Tumacari City Mayor Abby Binay.
01:17Meanwhile, Mayor Binay reprimanded city officials who approved the said ad campaign.
01:23She said the request for the permit did not reach her office, adding that aside from the confusion it brought to the motorists and commuters, the campaign also disrespected the late senator.
