अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के निर्माण की समीक्षा को लेकर हुई निर्माण समिति की बैठक की जानकारी देते हुए समिति के अध्यक्ष नृपेंद्र मिश्र ने कहा कि अगर दिसंबर 2024 का लक्ष्य है तो सबसे बड़ी चुनौती शिखर के निर्माण की है। द्वितीय तल का निर्माण होने के बाद ही शिखर का निर्माण पूरा हो सकता है। मैं अनुमानतय: ये समझता हूं कि अगर आज की गति से निर्माण किया गया तो दो महीने का विलंब होगा। लार्सेन टूब्रो को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वो लेबर में वृद्धि कराएं, अपने जो उनके कॉन्ट्रैक्टर्स हैं उनकी संख्या बढ़ाएं। एक या दो सब कॉन्ट्रैक्टर पर निर्भर न रहें। हम प्रयासरत हैं लेकिन निर्माण की गति जो अपेक्षित है वो पिछले तीन माह में कम हो गई है। आप भी जानते हैं कि जो मौसम का हाल था गर्मी थी तो श्रमिक भी यहां से चले गए।
