पेरिस ओलंपिक के दूसरे दिन शूटिंग में मनु भाकर के ब्रॉन्ज मेडल जीतने के बाद तीसरे दिन भारत की मेडल की उम्मीदों को उस वक्त झटका लगा जब शूटर रमिता जिंदल 10 मीटर एयर राइफल में 7वें पायदान पर रहीं। फाइनल मैच के बाद आईएएनएस से बात करते हुए रमिता ने कहा कि यहां से मैंने बहुत कुछ सीखा है, ये मेरा पहला ओलंपिक था। मुझे लगता है कि सबकुछ अच्छा था लेकिन कहीं न कहीं अनुभव की कमी की वजह से मैं अच्छा नहीं कर पाई। अनुभव ही मुझे आगे बढ़ने में मदद करेगा।
