00:00The producer price index or PPI for manufacturing slowed to a 0.1 percent annual decline in June,
00:07improving from a 0.8 percent drop in May. The average annual PPI growth rate from January to
00:13June was negative 0.8 percent, an improvement from a 0.5 percent increase in June 2023.
00:20The slower decline was mainly due to a 3.6 percent increase in the PPI for computer,
00:26electronic, and optical products and other contributing factors such as transport equipment
00:32and basic metals, food manufacturing sector, machinery and equipment,
00:36and refined petroleum products and more.
