00:36When these procedures done by those who are unlicensed go awry,
00:40Koh said it causes widespread panic with genuine doctors bearing the brunt.
00:46He said the situation is made worse by the lack of regulation
00:51as culprits are able to get away scot-free
00:54and end up setting up another bogus business under a different name.
00:59Meanwhile, a health ministry official said some genuine doctors were partly to blame
01:04as they would set up new branches with bogus practitioners
01:08to expand their business and reap profits.
