00:05The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also eager to launch a number of new main initiatives
00:10to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be considered in the 2025 budget.
00:15These initiatives are expected to be able to restructure the economy
00:20through the implementation of human capital in the public sector
00:24which will directly improve the quality of life of the people.
00:29For SDG and low-carbon transportation,
00:34we have also become advocates and advocates.
00:39Two days ago, I also raised the MJM from the Ministry of Transportation at the Cabinet
00:46on the National Decarbonization Roadmap for Aviation,
00:52which is a plan to reduce carbon for the aviation sector.
00:59This roadmap will be launched in September,
01:03which is a base and also a guide to the aviation sector
01:09on how we can become a more efficient country
01:16and contribute to the reduction of global carbon.
01:21So this is very important in the aviation sector.
01:25And not only in the aviation sector, but also in the maritime sector.
01:29We hope to be a country that we can be proud of as a country that contributes to low carbon.
01:38So this is a new initiative.
01:42And at the same time, it can also be a trigger or a contributor
01:47to several new economic sectors, especially in the field of renewable energy.
01:54So these are all opportunities that can be achieved
01:58or can be implemented through the initiatives brought by the Ministry of Transportation.
02:17We have presented our paper to the Cabinet,
02:21and the Cabinet has given the endorsement and approval
02:25for this blueprint to be published and to be implemented.
02:31It is a policy guideline guiding our aviation sector
02:36in terms of the way forward for decarbonization.
02:39It will involve both the airlines, airport operators,
02:43and also our adoption on the sustainable aviation field.
02:46So it will encompass a few sectors and a few elements towards decarbonization.
02:53So it will be a guiding principle.
02:57So this will be a policy that will be adopted by the Ministry of Transport.
03:02So we will invite all the stakeholders,
03:06the members of the National Aviation Council,
03:08for a meeting in early September.
03:11Once we finish the meeting, we will do the launching on the same day.
03:17So we will present it to the members of the aviation council,
03:21which of course they already know.
03:24The blueprint was done with the input from them,
03:28from many airline stakeholders, from many aviation stakeholders.
03:32So most of the airlines are in the know about this blueprint
03:36because most of the inputs are coming from them as well.
03:39So we will discuss the final version with the National Aviation Council.
03:43Once we finish the meeting, on the same day,
03:46we will do a function to launch the blueprint.
03:50We will invite ambassadors and foreign entries as well.
04:00That is part of it.
04:01Of course it includes carbon credit, COSIA and all that.
04:06That is part of the guidelines adopted by the International Civil Aviation Organisation, ICO,
04:14in terms of towards decarbonisation.
04:16COSIA is definitely part of it.
